i did and i am now... dont see anything.... you know how i can be blind. when i click juciy 8 it takes me to the dl link and i think its for the diamond as the file states JUICY_8_090618V...notice the V for victor

I actualy flashed my friends TP, it was his 1st custom and he loves it, although u will need 1 fix for an issue alot of ppl where having other then that hes says its really good. btw, i found the fix..

Tried to install this ROM on my touch pro and it's giving me a error message within the rom update utility???? it goes to the gray status screen on my phone to 1%, then gives me this error message: "ERROR [244]: INVALID MODEL ID"

and then my phone just restarts?

ok i just went to work to get my tp, and flashd this rom, nothing to repport.. no bugs.. i recieve and send sms/mms and as far as gps mine is working, my advise to u angie is to check the original thread on ppc just to see if theres a major problm or if u might need a hard reset.

if it helps u any i always install major program cabs like themes and arcsoft b4 adding the tweaks..

shes through alltel and installed the carrier cab as well as the alltel arcsoft cab and still no luck.... im out of ideas you guys got any?

yea installed both of those, sending and receiving SMS just fine, but I get an error message every time I try to do a MMS.........."message failed: try again/..." kinda thing. The version MMS cab I installed is 5.0.70.24 Beta 6.

the GPS thing, I feel like is just simply alltel in MY area period, it's locked and can't be unlocked for me to use here for some reason, I say that b/c it's Never worked with any of my smartphones, mogul, touch, or my new baby...TP!!!

also, is the "wallpaper" setting working in everyone else's? I'm trying to change my wallpaper to something else, I have the Nature's Grace TF3D-2 theme, but I want a different wallpaper, when I click on it, it asks if I want to use the default wallpaper, I say NO, then my albums come up, then I select a pic I want (which I got from here esp for tf3d-2 themes) and it's not changing it?????

OK, so the wallpaper thing works only for just the home screen, doesn't make it a wide landscaped picture that scrolls with your tabs..........unless you install one of those themes I guess.........

Just wanted to report on the battery life with this ROM, it is OUTSTANDING!!!! I'm on day 2, NO CHARGING, and still have 30% battery, used for internet, tweeting, texting, emails, phone and everything..........I was actually looking at spending the 60 bucks on the extended battery, but I do not need it now.......first when I had installed this ROM I "forgot" to uncheck that "accept all incoming beams" and it SUCKS THE BATTERY DRY!!!!! AFTER, that fix..........can't say enough about it............loving it!!!!!!!!!! thanks so much!!!!!!:highfive:

yea i installed b4 posting it still has the grey issue it had in the last release and the t9 has an issue or 2 but the keyboard lag is gone for the most part,im realy digging this rom irite now its the fastest UP TO DATE 6.5 rite nowand the start up is way faster..

sorry, been a long weekend.. yes there r good and bad things with this rom, one of the majors that ppl seem to be saying is that it doesnt play well with s2u2.. but then its workin fine for me so idk..

hey guys don't know if you still using this or not but i found Juicy_8_090713H so is this different then JUICY 8 - Build 090627 or just an update. this is the one im rockin no bugs seems great fast but is lackin pic mail and and the only problem i got is when u change theme maybe it does not work with this theme. ill keep tring.

from the looks of the numbers, this one posted here is an update bro. and for pic mail, go to the search bar and type in "arcsoft", that should do it for pic mail. as far as themes go, you have to install tf3d-2 themes, NOT tf3d themes okay.

This is a pretty good ROM, theres a couple of things that could be fixed to make it better such as the switching between the landscape and portrait when the keyboard, It does actually extend your battery life which is a major plus for the Touch Pro. Also I was wondering did this Rom come packed with some kind of picture mail application, I couldnt find anything so I used SMMS which was just as fine, another thing that coudl be better is when you click the text message from the home screen it sometimes jumps to the phone if you go too fast. but i enjoy the pictures with each text. Amazing Rom, made for heavy use as stated so it works out well.

why are you using smms? why dont you just install your carriers arcsoft cab and do it without jumping hoops?

man for some reason the rom started buggin out. it would show the bluetooth icon and bluetooth isnt even on. when i tried to sync the phone it pulls up the video out option. i hard reset and was still doing it. this was yesterday.. i was able to flash out and go to mighty rom6. idk what happened.

could have just been an error or just that a bug that could have been fixed with hard reset....... but dont blame you for switching it up and always nice tro try out different roms..... nfsfans newest is a beast thus far that many are loving.

Just for future references, or whenever the new Juicy comes out or is cooked. The transition between the portrait and landscape can be better. Most of the time when i open the keyboard it stays in the portrait mode and i just have to turn the phone sideways. Also it kinda froze up on me when i had the messaging opened. that was the only thing that was running and i had to soft reset and also a hard reset to get things moving again. Not sure if its my phone or the ROM. but Juicy is the best rom i could find, if iit could be tweaked just this lil bit it will be the best ROM out there most responsive and has the clean business look

you can try out the newest nfsfan, or gokus that will be released tonight.... both are great roms in my opinion and havent really liked juicy since he first started making for the diamond when it was first released...... those were some great early edition roms right there.

I want them to be as responsive. and have a simplistic look on it as this one tho. Theres not much on it to really slow it down. It is minor things that I have wrong with this ROM. but for like the other roms they arent as sharp. They have a nice look but jsut not 100% right.
