Iphone dont like rainOMG

My dear boyfriend, bless his heart, was doing some tree work yesterday afternoon in the backyard, layed his iPhone in it's carry case on the deck table, under a canopy, mind you, well all would have been well if our new pit bull pup didn't like chewing on everything and anything.........she got ahold of it, drug it out into the yard, the carry case is history, and the iphone isn't so bad considering.........although, IT POURED DOWN RAIN for about 10 mins, and I guess that's all she wrote..........all would have been well if it wouldn't have been for that short little shower of rain..............my poor, poor Baby!!!! He's so upset!!!! Sucks AT&T don't give insurance for iphones (probably wouldn't cover water damages anyways, but still sucks)

Wckediden keep him in your prayers for his loss, no ceremony has been scheduled as of yet.....will keep you posted when the arrangements are finalized.

hahaha oh jeez that suckssss, tell him to get an ipod touch and a cheapo phone, then he basically has the same setup :)

awwww tell him i said sorry for his loss, this is just a sign that it wasnt going to last between them and that he should go to sprint for the pre or a windows mobile phone. but at least we know the iphone makes a great chew toy for puppies :) still liking the case?

oh YES absolutely, still loving my case and my wm touch pro..........just hate it for him tho, maybe now will be the time to go to a wm device and sprint!!!

that does suck...tell him if he buys a new iphone to get his next from best buy...they seel iphones with an optional accidental protection plan...it covers damage and spills among alot other basics like battery, dirt,dust, and sand getting in it, normal wear and tear, defects and malfunctions...first they have a 48 hour rapid exchange where they send it out and a new or refurbished one is sent out to you...usually refurbished, but it is better than nothing and it looks brand new from what I have seen...usually just models that we returned within 30 day return from customers from what they say in articles...get ready about price though...its $15 a month charged recurring from a credit/debit card and you can cancel at anytime...to me $15 bucks a month is not that bad for a device that is upwards of 600-700 bucks...plus AT&T and Apple don't have protection like this for iPhone...only downside to it is that it does not cover lost or stolen and I don't believe even online insurance companies like squaretrade off that! Hope that recommendation helps...cause I know he is gonna buy another iPhone...once you go iPhone you can't go back from what I hear from the people I know who have them as well!

yes, I will relay all that to him, thanks a bunch Iceman!!! appreciate it.....and I know he will want another one, he's looking around for one but they are still ranging 400+ bucks for the iPhone 3G 16g's..........OMG!

So sorry for your loss, but I would agree with buying one from Best Buy. Their warranty is a blessing and it does help out a lot.

There really isn't an insurance that would cover loss or stolen, so he prolly should check his options out so far as that is concerned. Tell him you can make almost any wm look and act like an ipod. Show off your skills!
