[INFO] Diamond TF3D Config (Exception Error Fix)

Well most of you with the diamond Device had installed the TF3D Config from xda.Now some of you was getting this error "exception"

well sushilange had suggest this to resolve the issue.

For all who getting an exception while starting my tool:

Your Registry is wrong! Maybe this is caused by a bad ROM or a bad tweak tool!

Check this key:

HKLM\Drivers\TouchPanel

The value PressureThreshold should be a DWORD (REG_DWORD)

(Many people have this problem and got STRING (REG_SZ) for PressureThreshold, but this is wrong!)

You have two options:

1.: You delete the tweak.xml in program directory of my tool
OR
2.: You change PressureThreshold to DWORD in Registry

well knowing me i like to get into the root of the problem,and resolving the issue i took the "tweaks.xml" from the mobile program folder and looked at what configs that maybe causing the issue. and compared it to my diamond device.And what do you know, there were about 2 or three registry that was missing or value was different so i use the registry tool and add or fixed them.

I suggest that if you are going to play with the registry that you back it up just in case you **ck up

In my device i was missing WakeUpOnNewSMS,EnableHSUPA so i added those in and TweakDescription_TouchFloPerformance44 the default value was set to 33 and it suppose to be 34 and TweakDescription_HigherGlyphCache default value was 32678 it suppose to be 8192.

Once i had fix all of the above issues and rebooted the device, i was then able to open up the config tools and all of the info that is needed had popped up.But the developer had suggest to delete that tweaks.xml file.But I notice that deleting that file the tools becomes useless so i suggest to fix the issue at hand.

hey i have a question i downloaded this and am pretty new to it.
i keep getting these errors when i start it up.

An unexpected error has occured in diamond tf3d config.exe

i hit details and
diamond tf3d config.exe
NullReferenceException


at f.m()
at diamond_tf3d_config.frmmain.v()

and so on.....
ive seen something about regkeys and tweak files but i cant find any of it

its becasue you didnt read the thread on this you have to go to start/file explorer/program files/tfloconfig/and delete the tweaks file that looks like an opera symbol

hey i need some more help on the diamond had it since it came out, have some q's about battery life if theres ways to make it last longer and a bunch of cool apps like foice and stuff...

look through the forums using the search feature and take a look at taylorsoj's tweaks thread stickied in the apps area... all the information is here just use the search feature to find

you have to use relevant words..its not hard...

wow if you give up that quick you arent ever going get htat thing running correctly..... this isnt goiung to be cake work and takes hours to even start getting the hang of trust me... the themes are ion the skins area tab right up top..... how much clearer could it be laid out? you iwll want touchflo3d themes since you are styill on a stock rom.

also please dont crap this thread with other questions that dont pertain to this topic of the config tool.... pthere are other threads for that

Rofl.. do people not like to read now a days? themes, roms, tweaks, programs are so easy to install and use if you just read i admit its kinda hard to find sumthing from time to time but damn cmon! everybody was a noob at one point in time but most of the people that tell you to read didnt get there hand held through EVERY step of the way.

(Note) Tweaks.xml didn't have the Opera symbol as it did b4 with my 1st TP.
