i koved this new version but utube wasnt working and neither was advance config tool so i flashed back to star but i really want to stay on this rom, any advice as to how i could fix or what i could do..thanks..nice job on new version of 6.5 beta --i know its a beta...

lol well i just flashed to merdin's rom and so far so good. one thing i dont like is the big tabs or titanium. it takes forever just to scroll to the next one! lol i love the rom cuz it's mostly black :-) but i thought he'd put in black kb too since he made it lol but guess i'll have to do on my own

oh no you read that police report wrong, it was for steeling a cab, and running from the cops, the yellow cab, not the file form cab for pocket pcs lol, although i did have a pocket pc on me with a bunch of cabs on it.

Downloaded last night, and messed with it all day. I can honestly say this is one of the sweetest roms i've come across. Battery life is great, layout is awesome, and especially no lagging!!! Can't really find any faults with this rom, maybe the battery icon to display in single digits instead of 10's, but that's what cabs are for. Overall, killer rom!!! Give it a flash. Peace

Sounds like you need to run an update profile on phone..could be found under start/settings/system/update profile after that soft reset see if works..

have you also tried to isntall the sprint carrier can and see what that does for you?

I tried sprint carrier, no luck and update profile which gives me Error Code 1012. by the way I'm using sprint service and the radio works fine just no data service.

firstly please post an appropriate member intro in the member intro section when u get a chance, so that staff and member can greet you and supply you with all the need to know info on the site you device and out community here

now onto you issue... did you hard reset and pull battery after flash? not sure why all your phone info like esn would change... and data connection would stop working ive never had that issue on merdinh's rom... try a hard reset and pull battery see if that helps... if not id say possibly reflash...

Hear you go buddy first try the first link and then the other instructions

To fix internet connections
VISIT HEAR FIRST http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ght=secret+hex
1. tap ##3282#
2. tap edit enter your msl TO GET YOUR MSL USE THIS PROGRAM http://code.baf.cc/mslgrab/BAFMSL.cab
3. tap menu
4. tap restore (your tp will restart)
5. run update profile from start->settings->system


NOW IF NONE OF THESE work then please flash back to the Sprint stock rom, and then once done do
1. tap ##3282#

then test your data and if it works, your good to flash back to my rom.

Congrats at least youll get a scrach free phone even if its refurbished. But there still is a way to fix the phone to get the connection back but sprint doesnt know yet, and its good that its staying that way because we get free phones lol.

I like the setup and included programs but the problem i found were 1. htc album when pic is open it automatically closes and some pics wont zoom in but did in other roms 2. the gsensor is not working. the gsensor doesnt work because when u go to calibrator u can by the two bubbles moving but the dont move. hard reset has been done and still continues

mmm have you tried a reflash? my gsensor works and used it with apps on this rom, and i dont have any troubles with my photos either.... have you tried to clean out your card some? its always a good idea after every flash to clear the files off of your card and reformat and drag the man folders with program files and such back to card... folders are made on the storage card from time to time and sometime registry is wrote to that from one rom that will mess with others..... upon doing this to your card you will notice the speed difference in the very next startup and hopefully less errors.... try that and maby a ahrd reset afterwards and see what tht does for you and thanks for the feedback.

thanks for the feedback, and i did however find a shortcoming with the gsensor Calibrator, but their is no problem with the actual gsensor, just the Calibrator, ill try and get that fixed before another release.

Sorry to let you guys know that this was my last rom for the Touch Pro.
My touch pro fell in the pool, my fault for setting it on the edge just encase i got a call. I called Sprint and after a long conversation i ended up getting a Touch Pro 2, and since i no longer have a touch pro no way to build or test roms.
I am planning on starting to build roms for the Touch Pro 2 sometime within the next 2 months when i get more time to explore the files, and learn more about exactly what makes it better.
Sorry for the touch pro users, but if your going on the touch pro 2 then you can probably try out my touch pro 2 rom.

Thanks, and i ended up getting it for $150 with 2 year upgrade, and cant wait to get started on the roms, i already made a few, now just waiting for the unlocker so i can start testing out and improving them

can i get any suggestions as far as getting the TP2 for 150 as i tried allday and no go they told me the best they could do is 349 cash after rebate so i'm pretty mad as i been there for 7 yrs+
