Welcome to my kitchen!

Here's what's on the menu today...

This is an HTC Herman CDMA ROM, based on Windows Mobile 6.5. The current build number and date can be seen in the title of this thread.

I always build my ROMs with three main goals.

• Eye candy.
• Speed!!
• Smoothness, consistency and good esthetics.

I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go, how I'd want it. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set.

You will find a new ROM posted here every few days, as I always update them with the latest "ingredients" that come down the pipe, from either Microsoft or HTC. Because of that, I recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization).


I usually make 3 versions of this ROM. If you don't see one in the download directory, it either means I haven't uploaded it OR I'm not making one for the current release yet.

Here are the different versions and what they mean.

• "Standard" includes the new TF3D2 (Rhodium Manila) along with the standard Windows Mobile 6.5 today plugin (Titanium*) and the Tachi dialer

• "Titanium" only includes the Titanium today plugin. No Manila in this version. This also includes the regular HTC dialer

You will find TWO core versions of each of the above versions.

One based on an the latest official windows build (currently 21864) and the other, built on the latest beta.

Currently the fast, stable, most bug free "official build" is 21864. I recommend you start with that first! :)

This ROM is a generic CDMA build and "data" is already preconfigured. It has been reported to work fine on Sprint, VZW, Altel and I believe even Cricket devices.

sms cab? you mean picture mail cab? if so than yes you will need to add those to this rom also .

Is anyone having this problem with this ROM:... You are on opera mobile or any other program that requires data connection and a call comes thru and when u hit the talk button or slide to answer to pick up all it does is mute the ringer and it forces u to miss a call???? Any fix??

Last build when I received picture mail it just said "New Message" in the threaded messages.

ok i got it now and flashed about 45mins ago. it's running great but i had to hack the battery witch i do in every rom but the mane thing i changed was "hkey_local_machine/drivers/builtin/battery/changed the reg. for "pollinterval" from 5000 too 25000. but time will tell over the next couple days in how much i like or dislike the rom. but it seems real promising.

i dont have any of those problems..... sounds like a tweak or a program that you installed since i havent experienced any of that.

i downloaded a coupel days back and just downloaded now as a test and made it through all the way without troubles, i would try a different browser and see what that does for you.... here at Wckediden and many other forums it displays best in firefox.

ya thats what im working on right now... i downloaded the acrosoft mms cab and it's not working.... plus i need to add "update prl and update profile" u just posted the other day i remember it cuz i looked at it but now i can't frind it.

the only thing im not really liken about this rom is nothin big or anything but there r to many sub folders to get to wear u want to go.... battery life is great vary fast also installing tf3d2 goodies helps alot too... lol. 1 more thing i want to take out the programs tab out. in tf there is no need for it when ur running 6.5 unlike 6.1.

yo dash and everyone else u have to search for it but it's called hacks and apps inside the apps folder there is a picture mail cab in there upload that cab to ur phone and it will put the picture mail in the touchflo tab with ur email like it's suppost to and it works great... when i get some more time i'll make a zip for it if u can't find it.

Anyone having issues w/ Pandora on the 9/4 build? My plays but stops playing the FULL song, it stops playing before the song is complete. Using the IVAN1+SC cab installed.

to remove the tabs all you have to go to is setting on touchflo than the rearrange remove tabs option and uncheck the ones that you dont want.

i disabled tf i went into windows folder and tried to re write the manila files for my new clock and it says access denied. i have done this on other roms to skin different things but why is it not letting me do it here with manila?

if you read the post right above yours you will see that this is for GSM ONLY....sprint is cdma so this could possibly brick your device....he has one for cdma here in the roms section

Please make sure its unlocked and if u cant get it to start do a soft reset and try again also make sure u have the nbh file out there on desktop with the ruu folder

jr than why is this posted in this thread? that could cause amny to flash and brick their phones!!! this is a cdma thread and you posted a gsm rom inside of it.... doesnt make any sense at all on why you would do that...

by default, its hidden unitl you get/miss a call, it was way to clean up the home screen so you could see more of the wallpaper.
it required editing a manila file in the root of windows. i know instructions is on xda, its in one particular thread. I'll search and post the link later.

yup, no battery issues. average use was 12 to 14 hours. light use was 18 hours.
