tp keyboard problem part 2

I believe my previous thread on this issue was closed prematurely because the problem of my keyboard reverting to a keyboard without a space bar keeps reacurring. The registry fix is definately the way to fix it which is

. I've been looking through all the other sites and apparently this is happening to alot of other people as well not just myself. The variable usually changes after I edit a contact or something like that. Sometimes i have no idea why it happens. The question should be asked is: what could be causing this random change of a variable that would affect the keyboard and what can be done to fix it? Is it a problem with the software that came on the phone, or some of the many cabs i put on like the tp2 tweaks cab or the proxy cabs or whatever? Im just curious if anyone might have a solution before i start hard resetting and individually putting on different cabs to see if it affects my phone. I just got it where i like it so I'd rather wait to see if anyone else has any ideas. Thanks. For the moment i've memorized the registry change but i really shouldnt have to do something like that.

I just found out elsewhere that the problem is the tp2 tweaks cab downloaded from ppcgeeks. I'll have to uninstall or hard reset to see if this is the problem... Hopefully uninstalling it will work but im guessing i have to hard reset to get the registry back to default.

mmm i dotn have the problem with the verizon version of the cab.... never had it happen to me..... but what i do get is that the missed calls wont register and will stay at 0 no matter what with a custom clock like in probexs theme that i running... probey is working on a fix for us verizon users but maby mention that in the ppcgeeks thread and see if the creator can get that fixed.

ok. now that i know where the problem came from, i followed Dash's advice and went to the source. Upon re-reading the post by GoodThings2Life at ppcgeeks, i see that this problem was forseen and a solution as well( other than the registry change i previously gave):

This was on the first post which i remember reading but until i experienced the problem, didnt recall. It wasnt until i was on xda where someone pointed out that the problem was rooted in this tp2 tweak. I guess for now i can live with this minor inconvenience until new roms are cooked for tp2/cdma seeing that i like how my tp2 is at the moment with the tweaks.
