So I was the sprint store last night checking out the HERO, right next to it was the Samsung Intrepid it had the TellMe app on there so copied the install.exe file on to my tp2 to see if it would install. I can get it to install but the app wount launch. anyone wanna give it ago to see if they can get it working?

Thank you kindly, Cyber...I too cannot take credit for the find. I have to give credit to Railslave and the original poster onppcgeeks. I did test it for Railslave on my Touch Pro (6.1/Stock ROM) and had success.

I went to PPC and it says that the touching part of the app is not working quite well, but the speech to text works ... mmmm any feedbacks anyone? ... better yet I'm gonna try it myself and let you know my findings

I cant get it to work on my pro2 , so idk whats up

OK so I installed it on my TP and it installed w/o a problem ... HOWEVER... the touch part DOES NOT work at all ... the soft keys do work .... the speech to text work, and if you are looking for something like a restaurant or movies the application will launch opera and will use bing as a search engine ..... .. I really hate the fact that the touch part doesn't work ....

ok members this is great news for whomever wanted speech to text on their wm phones. a special thanks to pixelwix for providing the app to us.

you need to have netcf 3.5 installed on your tp device first
and formost. download the attached cab, and extract to your programs folder on your phones main mem. it seems that the touch screen is not working, but you can still navigate without it for now.(on tp devices, it is fully functional. thanks for the confirmation daredlight)

attached are the cabs needed to make this work. enjoy

so i really wanna get this program to work but it wont load it to my phone. i am running sss v0402 stuffed. when i tried to install the netcf it says to uninstall the newer version i have to install this older version. im confused to why it wont load. i get an error stating that there was a problem starting tellme please try again later.

Wow this is really great, talk about making people lazy wit the text that was the whole reason I feel in love with the qwerty keyboard, but I guess if you want to be indiscreet you can just type along. Nice job on the find.

thus maby why they are going with more keyboardless phones like the leo per instance? only they really know if they know yet hahaa

i would make the change myself from the tp2 to the leo in a heartbeat and wouldnt think twice about it...... and with the better screens coming out size and sensitivity wise the onscreen keyboards and their use are only getting better and better.

Works on my TP. Just loaded it earlier today and have not found any problems. Will report back if I find some.

there was a problem starting tell me. Is anyone else getting this error. I reflashed my phone to stock 6.1 and it still doesnt work. It wont install to the phone? any thoughts?

this was made for 6.5 install framework 3.5 first thing and than once you have that installed install this and you will be fine.... remember the sprint phone this came off of was the first ever sprint wm 6.5 smartphone

make sure it doesnt have 3.7 framework installed.... thats causing a lot of troubles when its built into the rom.

the 3.7 is cooked in the rom how can i change if it doesnt let me install the 3.5 ?

i tested it out and it works great, you just have to say each word clearly but thats ok with me, then hit edit and send since the touch screen doesnt work yet.

I was using ATR and it installed just fine ... as of right now I'm on stock rom ....

Wow thats great news for us tp2 users ive installed it as well but shuts off when i talk ? Do get it cant wait til a better version of this comes out

within the zip file there is a .exe file just double click on it and it should install ...

hi the cab is netframework 3.5? if you dont have that install its needet for the app to work

so it works touch screen and all if you install the full app from the cab and you gotta speak really clearly
