[SOLVED] Sprint MMS working

[BucksFloBx]

Step 1. Flash Mighty.

Step 2. Install the Sprint Carrier Cab from Mighty ROM thread - POST 1

Step 3. Install the Arcsoft MMS_Sprint_5_0_94_128c.cab

Step 4. Goto messaging...all messages..menu...pic/vid options...CDMA Servers tab and click on a server in there and change the server address to

. Click done.

Step 5. Highlight the server you edited and click "Set as Default"

Step 6. Hit OK ( top right )

Thats all folks.



note: you cannot see the entire server address in the pic.. but it is what i wrote above.



If you get an error while saying that the message is to big then do the following registry edit:

HKLM/Software/Arcsoft/Arcsoft MMS UA/Config/MM1/MMSCSetting/SampleMMSC/
and /SampleMMSC2/

WAP1 and WAP2
Change the values to 1228800 or larger... mine is at 5120000 (5mb)

The bold SampleMMSC/2 might be different, it may be what you set the Server name to in the picture above.

will it work if i installed 3 before step 2? the reason is because i noticed Sprint Pic mail not working and now see the fix, but i already installed AcroMMS ... i guess all i am missing is MightyROM Sprint cab and the configuration.... What do you think?

At this moment right now I am working on that. I am this close not to use Juicy Rom and go with Mighty or CFay Beta Rom

Right now Mighty's ROM is the most stable and has not froze, or lagged on me.. PIC MAIL is still the issue... Back to my question, I am on Mighty's ROM and I have already installed the AcrosoftMMS cab. Pic mail is not working.. Do i need to install Mighty ROM cab first and then configure the pic mail?

ok , now.. should I uninstall the AcrosoftMMS cab now, (since its already installed and thats step 3), and then install Mighty Mikes cab(step2), then install AcrosoftMMS cab(step3)

OR

just installed Mighty mike cab(step2) now and dont worry about the fact that I have already installed AcrosoftMMS (sep 3)?

I followed all the steps and sent a test mms and it worked, but phone will not receive any mms. Anyone having this problem also??

well so far i flashed Energy Leo, mms no go, Mighty and Juicys pic mail works fine. no issues there. On Juicys all i did was disable the HTC Messaging which i really do like but got mms working like that. Just thought i share.

you have to hope that the fix you posted in earlier that cuzin posted up works and if it doesnt your sol since thats one of the biggest problems with the leo builds.

Well i just flashed to mighty rom bro and i have tried 3 diff cabs and still no go , i hope i dont have to back to stock to send pics

works fine for me with the mighty rom mms ca attached in the thread over at geeks for your provider..... if you installed one and it didnt work than you are going to have to hard reset and than install the other otherwise it may not work due to the registry in some areas being changed and not matching with what it is supposed to if one cab wrote to a part of the registry that the other didnt.

im running leo nov 9 rom on my touch pro 2and i got the mms to work with and still have my pretty htc messanger there is a thread on ppcgeeks where it shows you the registry edit to put it in to get it working
