Description

TouchOne is a new, revolutionary touch based interface for all windows mobile touchscreen phones, QVGA VGA and WVGA, soon to be HVGA and WQVGA.

Project Goals:

Provide a community-demand based touch friendly interface.
Provide an easy to use SDK for anyone who wants to develop widgets / plugins, using .NET CF or XML.

Current Features:
(a changelog will ensue after the second release)

1.) Supports DLL Plugins for customizing Homescreen and additional screens. XML to be added shortly. With documentation, making customizing and adding to it free and easy.

2.) Allowing up to 20 user customizeable screens that can be used for program shortcuts or plugins/widgets.

3.) Very smooth screen transitions and crisp graphics, no choppiness.

4.) Easy to use 'no-buttons' navigation, slide up/down for applications and left/right for customizeable screens. Navigation is not relative, so you do not 'get lost' on where you are at. The Homescreen, applications and settings are always a maximum of 2 swipes of your thumb away.

Requests for features will be welcome and flaming will be tolerated, just make sure the flaming has a point :silent:.

i need another day to report back my battery died last night while fighting with girlfriend so i didn't fully review this.. ;(... sorry but will report back...

one thing i have noticed is that main settings are in start menu and not quick linked icons... the background doesnt change all backgrounds - only the one's your using.... the apps are hard to find when you need something quick.... didn't try adding or moving around widgets so i have to get back to you on that... but dam THUMBS UP on smoothness and response... it's pretty nice....

well i disabled my touch flo.. I went to install the CNET framwork, but my deivce says a newer is already installed (the newer came with the ROM). So then i installed the Touchone cab. soft reseted my device. I enabled Touchone on my today screen but nothing loads.. today screen has nothing showing but start button and the 2 soft keys..

EDIT: NEVERMIND. I HAD TO PRESS THE TOP POWER BUTTON TO TURN MY LIGHT OFF.. ONCE I PRESSED THE POWER BUTTON AGAIN TO ILLUMINATE THE SCREEN, THE TOUCHONE SHOWED UP... GONNA PLAY WITH IT NOW.

FYI....

You can't mess with the widgets untill he comes out with the next version... it's so smooth and quick i think i'm gonna try the final version cause it's really nice...
