VZ Navigator

Ok. So I got the VZ Navigator cab from the stock Verizon Rom. But on the Custom roms floating around it won't work, on any of the roms (2.1 or 2.5). I think that it's because the Roms run WM 6.5. That said......does anybody have the VZ Navigator used on the Imagio (it runs with 6.5)

yeah i have it posted here already.... if you bump this thread later tonight or in the morning i can throw you the one that i used without troubles on 6.5

Tried it. It's the same file I had before. Still got the same message:

The file 'VZ Navigator' cannot be opened.Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.

still sounds like you dont have .NET compact framework 3.5 installed on your device.

How do you tell which version you have? I tried to install v3.5 and it said that a newer on already exists. Running Merdin's rom.

I searched and saw 3.7 beta posted but the file was dead

if you look at the changelog in merdins roms thread it will tell you what version is included.... 3.7 has been known to have issues with certain apps.

But that still wouldn't explain why it won't work....especially since you use the same version I use, ya know? Did you do anything different to your tp2 when you used vz navigator?

I also found the same problem with the Mighty Rom. Someone asked about it in the ppc thread but no response. So it seems to be a common problem.

what you mean same version... i use 3.5 built in not 3.7.....

3.7 has known to cause some conflicts with certain apps and such thus why it is still beta

Yeah, I was asking if you were using the built in version that came with the rom (3.5). You answered it. But now I'm stumped. We have the same devices, carrier and same rom (at some point I'm sure) but you can use it and I can't. There's got to be something I'm missing.

Btw I'm only stressing this b/c I have to pay for the service and I'm used to using it :)
