Bad news. Nero's site is showing their v8 series, not v7.x... :hurt:

did you search google for the version????? all you have to do is type in the name of the program the make and than add trial version and you would have found. http://www.downloadmegasite.com/nero...-download.aspx

Thanks, Dash. You're right -- I could have searched for it, but 1) I didn't think of it, 2) knowing that there was a newer version, I would never have installed it (30-yr PC habits die hard), and 3) the link you provided, along with others that were returned after a search, came up empty when the download was to start -- most likely those particular download links were severed.

I'm not in any immediate need of the software, but said "what the hey" and decided to go for it at the time. When I am ready, I'll most likely try and get whatever the latest and greatest is.

Once again, I appreciate your help.
