K. I transfered the CAB file over to my device. Then when I clicked on it to install it and it said that the installation was unsuccessful. Did I do this right? If not what did I do wrong?

k well i installed the file on to the device then it said something about that the program may not display prperly bc it was designed for a previous version of windows mobile software. I went to the dial to make a call (to see if it was there) and I still have the default one. I do something wrong?

do a soft reset and than you will be fine

I'd hate to ask but what is a soft reset?

use the stylus and stick it into the hole in the bottom of the phone and it will soft reset your phone....... its similar to doing a reboot on your phone... please search the foeums in the future since that has been discussed many times already.... and i dont like to repewat myself all the time lol...

Sorry about that. I looked everywhere for the forum to help me out with that but I couldnt find it. You think one of you guys could give me the link to it? Also I did the soft reset and them went to the numbers to make a call and my stuff was still default!

i tested with the exe file and it worked fine for me on my 6700, 6800, and 6900 all running WM6

link to what?? and all you got to do is install the cab then imediataly after do a soft reset

yeah i know double post but as the sticky says i just saw that you have the mogul you need to download the touch dialer cab through the rapidshare link since these are based off of the touch dialer.

Ok here are these exact things I did.
First I clicked on the exe file and the clicked open.
I installed w/e it was I had to then I installed it on my 6800.
I soft reset my device.
Then when my device turned back on all the way after reseting I went to the area to make a call and it was still default!

I dont know if there are any other things I have to do or not. If you can send the link of the forum that has exactly how to do it THAT WOULD BE GREAT!!

as me and tigerz said under the dialer skins you will see one called the touch dilaer download and install that from the rapidshare link and than install this one over that and you will be fine... you can also do a local search for touch dialer skin and it will bring it up

I've been searching for the touch dialer download and I can't seem to find it.
But when/if I do find it I install it then install the dialer that I wanted right?

yes and watch this i will do a local search for it brb...damn you didnt even realize i left to do a local search for it. ....... look at the screenshot i attached and look at what i searched for like i tild you and what came up. if you notice in the top left corner it says search for touch dialer and look at the results not even half way down the page it is right there.

Ok I downloaded the rapidshare thing from the link that you gave me and transfered it over to my mogul. Then when I clicked on it on the device to install it, it said that the installation was unsuccessful.

you have got to be kiddig me you are making this soooo hard on the both of us now..... please read the past posts i said use the rapidshare file and you will be fine not the attached since we already concluded the vista xp problems. for you...... im sorry im be hostile but come on i hate repeating myself.

I'm sorry dash but dude I clicked rapidshare link above the pic and not the attachment. Still I saved it then transfered it and it wouldnt install on my device and it was unsuccessful.

it does work i tested on my mogul right now with no problems what-so-ever. try to soft reset the phone and if that doesnt work search google for it and see if they ahve a version that works for you.
