Power Vision no longer working after rom upgrade
Before I upgraded to the leaked rom with gps and rev a my power vision was working correctly and I was getting speeds of aprox 400-500kb down, after I upgraded to the leaked rom it dropped to 20-25kb down.
I hated it but I figured hey the GPS alone is worth it to me since I have to drive a lot for my job. Now that the official rom came out I was hoping that it would fix this issue for me but it seems as it has not. I'm not using a custom rom at the moment, just the factory latest rom 3.35. Any suggestions you may be able to point out to why this may have happened and what I can do about it? Thanks in advance! |

Re: Power Vision no longer working after rom upgrade
I did search, but didn't see a thread that had similar problems to mine. In any case I apologize if I missed it.
Anyway back to my problem, when I click the start button for IOTA, it doesn't do anything. I found another thread when I searched for IOTA and that persons internet didn't work at all and the IOTA did nothing for them as well. You recommended reflashing the phone again and I've done that but it didn't work either. I've tried connecting to the internet first then hitting start in IOTA, repeatedly tapping start and waiting, nothing... Any other suggestions that you may have? Thanks |

Re: Power Vision no longer working after rom upgrade
Okay I figured it out, I always as a habit skip the sprint customizations after a hard reset, well the reason why IOTA doesn't work is because the it doesn't get installed when you skip that process. So I hard reset again, let the customizations run and bam! IOTA works.
Now my problem is my username for vision isn't correct. By default it put the ESN number as my username. So when I try to provision the phone I get the error: Error code 67 registration failure. your pcs vision username and/or password may be incorrect. Please try again. So I am assuming I edit this in the ##778# menu but I see two places where I can enter a username and password In the security tab there is a line HDR AN AUTH User Id and then for the password part its a bunch of weird symbols and characters, then the other place is M.IP Default Profile, username is under NAI then at the bottom the same strange symbols and characters are under AAA Shared Secret. Which of those values should I change to my sprint username? Or is there an easier way to get the settings automatically. Thanks Dash! |

Re: Power Vision no longer working after rom upgrade
I had the same issue and Sprint customer service was great about getting it fixed. It took a few minutes on the phone and a couple of restarts, but I'm running smoothly now.

Re: Power Vision no longer working after rom upgrade
Yes, I just got off the phone with Sprint customer service as well. They had to reprogram my phone but it worked! Up and running smoothly now.
Thanks for all the advice guys, |
