[SOLVED] Key Board (Stop Typing)

hello ladies and gent,

ok guys i need some help..and just curious if this happening to you guys. I received a text message form my daughter and when i was replying to her message, i'm using my keyboard and i thought i was typing nothing was happening and my phone freezed up so i had to take the battery out.Anybody encounter this? Any imput will be nice i have a decision to make...

mmmmmmmm has this happened multiple times or just once...... every once in a while the phone will freeze up if it hasnt been soft reset in a while.....

it just happened yesterday i soft reset and try it again but the keyboard wont type anything and then it freezes again....

huh have you installed anythign new lately.... tweaks programs anything?

na haven't done anything to it. with the project i was working on doing little modding it.

na into phone..only thing in storage is my movie and proggys i install..bout to call sprint tech to see if anybody else has this issue..

mmmmmm almost sounds like it is time for a hard reset!!!!! they suck bro trust me since everythign has to be installed again but when you are done you love it again lol

yea i was afraid to do that lol...but i found out its a driver issue with sprint...

never heard of that happening...I have heard of some issues with hardware keyboard, but not on screen keyboards...do this, first re-align the screen and then if that does not work then hard reset for sure...even if your keyboard does not have problems with alignment...just re-align because I saw this happen on someones old HTC 8125 and that fixed the issue...but you probably just need to wipe that thing fresh...

yea i thought about the alignment issue but when i went in to do it it froze on me again. and i also thought it was a keyboard driver issue but sprint had fixed that on the old rom..because i have the driver...

But good news it was a software issue it was the sym-touch commmander..it was doing well till 3 days ago after having it for 3 months i took it off and all is good now. knock on wood ..lol
