A few questions about my Mogul

Hey guys I'm pretty new to PPCs in general, but I seem to figure thngs out pretty quick. I have installed nearly all of Dash's mogul mods from the sticky (HHC, ultimate launch, quick menu, google maps, mobitv, xm, S2U2, sktools, psshutXP, vito sms, resco explorer, and some other stuff too). One problem I'm having is that every morning I get up and my phone is all wrong. The alarm clock never goes off, and when i try to open any program i get a message sayin something like "the is not enough memory allocated for this application." Then when I go to my memory manager (through my task manager which still works) it brings up a weird page with a slider that says memory allocation which is slid all the way to the left at like 2.0 M. A soft reset fixes this but I believe I may be missing phone calls and such. Is it something to do with the fact that it is charging when this happens, or maybe it goes into sleep mode? Also at normal times of the day my phone runs at about 75 to 80 % program memory after running some programs and about 50 to 60 % after a soft reset. Is this a high number? because my phone seems to run alright most of the time but if I want to run pocket snes or something it lags pretty bad. Thanks for any help you guys can give me Wckediden ROCKS! Oh and btw it may be somewhat important that I have alltel and I recently installed the new Rev. A Alltel rom from HTC's website (ROM: 3.35.671.9 04/09/08 Radio: 03.37.20)

thats your problem right there you will want to run a custom rom....i would recommend kaos **** sprint take 3 rom.

that leads to my next question....Am I able to run these sprint based custom roms on my alltel mogul...and if so are they any harder to install than the one on HTCs site was?

yes you can run the sprint based roms it's not very hard, just read the tutorial that says "NEED TO LEARN HOW TO FLASH ROMS? CLICK HERE" in dash's sig and when you flash the rom be sure to soft reset before sprint customizations run

Thanks man....one more thing.... I'm looking at Dash's tutorial for flashing roms and when I click on the link for the hardspl it takes me to the permission denied page and ive searched for it and cant find it. Is there a certain area I have to go to to find it. Also, on the thread for kaos' take 3 rom it says this rom may/will ruin your device....is that only if done incorrectly or does every phone have a chance of bricking during this operation?

I dont see your signature under any of your posts but when I click your picture it brings me to your sig. you mean the member group?...if so I thought I joined the members software group and I tried to join the program uploader (which I read somewhere was necessary to download programs) and I dont kno if I was approved or not.

For sure! Custom Roms are always better when COOKED RIGHT! I see you have a Mogul! RECOMMEND KAOS TAKE 3 STRIPPED CLEAN VERSION! Work your way up from there!

Thanks man....SUCCESS!!!....one last question...am I still running off of Alltels network...cuz its always says dialing to sprint network, and sprint gets horrible service where i live. Also, does the GPS run solely off of sprints network or are they separate satelites?

Umm did, you follow the instructions in the Koas Take 3 rom for alltel users? also, if you have a question on the ROM post in the KAOS TAKE 3 ROM so all the other Alltel users can take advantage of your post.

OK, I am new here...been surfing for a few days now....and I am new to the mogul scene...

but, I keep seeing a few of you refering to the sig and I see nothing other then the blue box for Wckediden.com and a link to edit signature....nothing else....I am not a dumb guy, but am a bit confused....I have many a question and do not want to ask them until I make sure I look around first....

go to the my control panel menu near the top of your screen and choose edit options and then scroll down a bit...you'll see an option that says view signatures, make sure that is checked press save options and ur good to go
