HTC S621 and WM6.1

S621 and WM6.1 I have a HTC S621 I purchased thru Cincinnati Bell who I believe is partnered with AT&T.
It currently has WM6.0 and I would love to upgrade to 6.1.
I spoke with their support and they do not foresee a 6.1 release thru them.

I see all over the web that this phone can run version 6.1 but if I where to attempt it...????? can it be rolled back if things don't work??

Who's build should I use?
Where to obtain best/easiest steps to perform this upgrade?

Any and all help needed...... Thanks to all who reply!!!!

The S620 is also known as the Dash or Excaliber.

This phone Cincinnati Bell sells it as a HTC S621, model up from the S620.
They sold a HTC P4300 with WM5, no upgrade to WM6 so I now have the S621 with WM6 but no support to go to WM6.1.
They now sell a newer S621 with WM6.1 but state they do not foresee providing an upgrade to my phone... CRAZY!!!

Like to upgrade but not brick the phone.

alright i got a rom posted up for you. that was the easiest to install rom i found. follow the directions to a T please. here you go https://www.wckediden.com/showthread...755#post282755 and hit that rep! lol

Well we gave it a try.
Key mapping was off a bit, and email sync with outlook just freezes the phone.
Wonder if the Roger's version would be any different?
At this point we went back to WM6 from the phone carrier.
