quick question

is there any updated roms for the verion xv6900 instead of using a sprint one? i looked on htc.com but couldnt find any roms on there. i would like to have gps course my manual says it has gps antenna according to the specs in the back of the manual. but at the verizon store on there description card by there terst phonessays it dont so im confused bout this. my phone is only a little over a month old maybe 45 days old would putting a custom rom on it void the warrenty (my yr warrenty) and the warrenty i pay for every month?

you can always flash back to a stock rom but it does void warrenty until you place the other rom back onto it.

how do i put the stock back on does any kitchens back up the orginal rom?

naw they dont backup through the kitchen..... by time you go back for stock they will have a new release to update to wm 6.1

see i was told by verizon that they dont have no software up date or no roms they said i had to use windows update but every time i goto check for updates there never is any.wonder why verizon dont have an updated rom for this phone like they do for every other phone they sell. i got wm6.0 rom version 1.15.605.14 romdate 03/10/08 radio version 1.60.30. to me seems everything is out dated.

one more question can i use the data cable to charge my phone while i do a hard rest cause i heard it uses alot of power to do a hard reset.

naw it doesnt take alot of power....... and it only takes like 5 minutes max to do and 99.9% of that is waiting for the darn thing to boot lmao.... and windows update has never worked on any windows phone i had so i wouldnt expect it to come there.
