hi from Houston
Hey all. I'm researching for a new phone, a used Sprint Mogul (ppc6800 / Titan). I've been through a lot already getting this thing on the right ROM, installing tons of utilities, editing phone registry, etc.
I'm at the point now where I really need the best PRL's for Houston, so that I can get EVDO for it. I've managed to enable GPS, MMS, texting, calling, etc,., but at the 1X state. Also need to make sure I don't have the wrong PRL's in my phone, and pick the PRL order. Any tips would be helpful. -Nate PS: i see a lot of flaming on this site and others, and the general response for new users is 'just search instead of asking for help'. Most people are ok with searching to find the answers, and most of these users, myself included, have already spent hours searching google and forums, before they ever start begging for help. Searching solutions, we come up with page after page after page mentioning a specific problem that matches the issue, but with the usual response of 'just search and stop asking, noob'. A couple of problems with that: 1.) Not every question is already answered by a sticky, not all the info is current, 2.) not every answered thread has viable, CURRENT links that can be accessed, 3.) the time spent flaming is not helpful for anyone, and if you already know the answer just spend the extra 30 seconds to post a bit of what you know instead of being superior (then that info can be searched and help others!), 4.) if questions aren't posted and answered, there'll be very little useful info left to search on google/forums. |
