alltel htc touch on Metro

Okay guys, please don't kill me for this question. I'm new and I have a HTC pro. I got everything working thanks to Juicy's rom. I now am trying to get internet and MMS working on my girl's HTC touch that was on Alltel and Now on metro. What is the best rom? I have read so much that I confused myself. I don't want to brick her phone. (that's all I need to do)
