Has anyone else tried not only using this for backup and recovery but also for merging two ROM's together?

what do you mean merging to roms together....if you mean backing up and than flashing a new different rom and than using the restore? if so you just revert yourself back to the old rom with lots of troubles and freezes.

That is very true, but I used to do this all the time with my favorite Kaos ROM's on my mogul and I'm not sure that if it was because they were slightly similar ROM's or what but I on more than one occasion came out with some results that I liked.

your never supposed to do that and it can really mess with the phone and even casue it to overheat since its looking through stuff that it isnt familiar with so it will search until it finds.

when does it give you that error? is it when you are trying to first open? when you are trying to perform a backup? when you are trying to run a restore? need a little more info.

Nah I can open it just fine but when I try to do a backup thats when i get the error (unexpected error occurred). Thats all its tells me then the program would just close.

You prolli got a bad download try this unistall the one u just installed then install it again .

hi use this myself works good try removing it whit sktools clean device and reinstal try again

yuppers and be sure to install to main memory and not card otherwise you may get errors.

Very true, but make sure that when you do you back up that you may want to save the auto exe backup file to your storage card. That way if youever have to hard reset or flash or something like that then you have it in a safe place. And on top of that you're saving memory on your device because I don't know about everyone else but when I do a full backup now on my Pro, the file ends up being over 100Mb and I'm not trying to waste that kind of space on my ppc

for sure otherwise copying and pasting that over before a hard reset may be imposible or at least take forever to complete.
