TP2 Verizon SIM card unlock

Does anyone know how to "unlock" the SIM card slot in the Verizon version of the TP2 to accept any regular SIM card?

I want to be able to use my international SIMs in this phone when abroad.

according to the manual it is sim unlocked already.... i think that they just choose vodafone as their preference.

When inserting another SIM I get the error that the SIM card is not valid and asked to insert a Verizon SIM card.

mmmm no clue than, im sure it will be figured out in time......

wow reminds me of the nextel days ...but that error you getting because that phone is not unlocked...once we have more available info on the tp2 then you'll be cool to unlock it.

Some peeps over at XDA were saying you need 2 unlock codes A and B and Verizon should but wont necessarily provide them.

they have to by law and i jsut found this out through lots of talking with llawyers and reps...... but anyways got mine all unlocked by them with the codes hey gave to me by me telling then i was going to amsterdam.
