VIDEO: HTC Eris: John's unboxing and first impressions
I have to admit that I wasn't very excited about this phone. I had reviewed the European Hero and Sprint's CDMA version, and a proximity sensor - although nice - wasn't the bump in specs I was hoping for in this renamed Hero. But it is a slim, soft(!) device that I'm enjoyng more and more as I play with it. Trackballs are good.
