FCC’s new 60-day phone unlocking policy isn’t everyone’s cup of tea

Sure, it’s a very consumer-centric decision You’ll be able to switch carriers easily, removing the restriction of being tied down to the carrier from where you purchased your phone. Software updates could also become faster since they would no longer be bound by carrier approval before reaching your devices.
