New Huawei Kirin chip to stick with 1+3+4 CPU architecture but with more po
 Huawei is working on a new Kirin 9 series chip with improved CPU performance. Leaksters from China revealed that the processor will have the same 1+3+4 architecture as the Kirin 9010 platform, but with more powerful cores. The SoC will be an in-house project, and it will be manufactured on a 7nm Pro Plus technology. Huawei is working with SMIC, a major semiconductor manufacturer in China, to build its new Kirin chips.
