What

Updated WeatherPanel.dll files that address the "show stopping" issues that have arisen this year - moon phase failure and authorization failure. The specific fixes include:
* Moon phase tables through 2008
* Authorization via a hosted server (99% uptime)
This solution is superior to WP-Auth (host rerouting) - it will work with ActiveSync, proxy servers, etc. - just as before the MarsWare site went down

Why

First: To provide uninterrupted service for the hundreds of loyal WeatherPanel users. To accomplish this, I went ahead and purchased a domain and two years of hosting services to provide WeatherPanel authorization.

Second: To offload the traffic from my company web server. If our server were to go down for any reason, I would very quickly become the bad guy. I'd rather be the good guy By providing a hosted authorization service, I can guarantee uninterrupted weather updates.

DLL Replacement Instructions

1. Determine your WeatherPanel version
(a)WeatherPanel settings -> About tab -> Run Diagnostics
(b)Scroll up the diagnostics window to see your specific version
2. Download the attached zip file that matches your version
3. Follow the instructions in the ReadMe.txt file found inside the zip file

Full Install

If you'd rather not mess with dll's, also attached (to the second post) is a modified CAB install. Download and install as with any CAB file - no registration necessary.
