Network Configuration Management STD v6.17
Network Configuration Management Standard Edition is a package tool that will let you manage network configuration.
It includes - IP Manager: create different profiles of network interface, TCP/IP, route, Internet connection, printer settings, and switch between them instantly without reboot. A profile can include network interface (enable/disbale, DHCP or not), IP address, gateway, DNS settings of a interface, network route settings, Internet connection settings (auto detect, auto config, or proxy), and default printer setting. All you need is just to configure ONCE any of your possible profiles. And then you just need to select a profile, IP Manager will instantly switch to it. Re: Network Configuration Management STD v6.17
Hi:
I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this question, but here goes. I seem to be having a problem with my Network Management. I am able to access the net for various apps like GPS, etc., but don't seem to have my WiFi set up properly. Often I am asked for a user name and password before I am able to connect. I'm not talking about trying to access password protected WiFi spots, it happens at free locations as well. When I co to my "Settings" I don't know if I should use the "My ISP", "data" or "My Work Network." Similarly, under the "private network" drop down list do I use "My ISP", "data" or "My Work Network?" When I go to "edit" the # is #777, the name for the connection is "Data" but the "cellular line" is greyed out under the modem list. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Re: Network Configuration Management STD v617
I noticed the mistake after I posted the question. I did a search on the issue first and this is the only thread that came up. I asked the question after doing the search but did not see the actual topic until after I hit the submit button. my bad.
