Emailchemy reads email from the proprietary formats of the most popular (and many of yesterday's forgotten) email applications and converts it to a standard, portable format that any application can use.

Emailchemy converts proprietary email formats to The One True E-mail Format - RFC-2822 (formerly RFC-822). This is the official Internet/ARPAnet standard for email that has been around since 1973. Emailchemy converts to many popular formats based on this standard.
