HERE IS 5 GOOD CHEATS FOR SUPER MARIO BROTHERS

TO PLAY WITH LUIGI
CODE: Play as Luigi
In order to play as Luigi, simply hold down the L and the R buttons when selecting a file. This code is not a big secret, if you bother to watch all the credits after beating the game the code appears!


EASTER EGG: Fireworks
Want to know how you get fireworks after sliding down the pole? It's all a matter of how the clock reads. If the last two digits are the same, i.e. 144, you will get 4 fireworks. NOTE: You can only see fireworks when the time ends in 11, 22, 33 or 44. If it ends in 55 you will not see any fireworks.


SECRET: Flag Pole 1up
If you manage to hit the very tip of the flag pole when completing a level, you will receive a 1up!


SECRET: Get to Worlds 4 and 7
World 4 is accessable through world 2 (notice the connection between world 2 and 4 on the overworld map?) First, the pathway to the 4th world opens up after you beat the last boss of world 2, the only catch? you must be in mini form in order to get to world 4. After defeating the boss on world 2, you will then see a little tunnel that only mini mario can get through. Same trick goes for world 7. While in world 5, perform the same trick, which needless to say is to beat the final boss as mini mario and again traveling through the same small tunnel to get to the other world.


SECRET: World 5 warp
One of the trickier warp cannons to access is right in the first world! The World 1 tower fortress is a long climb to the top, but you'll find the path to the warp here -- but before you head in, you'll need to be wearing the Koopa shell.

At about halfway through the level, you'll spot a pipe that shoots you up through a shaft to get some extra coins. In the middle of the shaft is a door that leads to a sliding-block room with a Star Coin. Directly across to the right of that coin is a secret passage big enough to fit a Mario in. Walk in and start running to spin the shell and bust through the bricks past the yellow pipe. There will be another set of bricks blocking a red pipe, and through there you'll find yourself at the site of the warp cannon, rocketing you all the way to World 5.



CODES: Challenge mode
Want an extra old school experience in your Mario game? Simply pause the game at the world map and press L, R, L, R, X, X, Y, Y. This makes every stage play more like the original Super Mario Bros. -- that is, you can only keep going in one direction, as the path will cut short.
