Thanks for this guys ijust unlocked my phone for the very first time tool me long enough lol a whole year .Took me less then 2mintues and it was all done i confirmed it and yea its unlocked this is very easy noobs out there just do it.

i cant even get mine to run when i download it its just 1 file try to open it and it says windows can't find program to open with. i did it before it wont do it now. i had to re download it because i redone windows

have you tried the newest version of winrar..... it fixed a lot of those troubles and havent had one since. aslo try a redownload of the zip again since i just downloaded and it came out fine.

try a different internet browser and see what it does for you.... i just downloaded with firefox and had no troubles..... most forums now a days run best with firefox and that includes ares.

So when Im trying to go from custom to stock, do I relock first then flash the stock rom, or flash stock rom, then relock?

Also, do I need to throw the relocker in a RUU, cuz it's not an .exe file for me when I DLed

You gotta flash to stock rom and radio then lock it , bro if you lock it first how do you think your going to get the rom in your phone.

you dont "need" to re-lock your phone to flash back to custom. it will flash just fine, i've done it many times. you only NEED to unlock your phone when flashing from stock to custom.

yeah he can, but not necessary. it's also good to go to stock every now and then, to clean your phone out after flashing so much, lol. that's why i do it. i flash to stock for like 10 minutes, and reflash to whatever rom i want....

there is no need that i can see to go back to stock occassionally? what is it really oing to do? a flash is a flash

Thats weird, when I had my mogul I returned it to stock by relocking first, then flashing a stock ROM and it worked fine for me. Thats how I have always done it. But I guess there's no reason to relock if I can just flash a signed stock ROM over a custom just fine.

well, i had some roms that have messed my phone up like total freezing, or running reallll slow, and i flash to different roms but the bug followed, so the only way to get back to normal was to flash stock for a few minutes, and that fixes everything. it works for me.

it works bro, i use to think the roms where bad, but now i flash stock almost always before flashing a new rom. give it a try sometime...

nothing this will unlock your device so you can flash custom roms..... and after that you find your rom and flash... look at my signature below and you will find a flashing tutorial... this is also a video tutorial here made by stlouisfinest on how to flash your device.

I tried running the relocker a couple of times and when it's done I go to the tricolor screen and it still says security unlocked. I'm taking my phone in tomorrow to get replaced because the keyboard is fried in it again, the rom is already back to the original stuff the comes with the phone, I just want to lock it again in case they might check for it at the store. Thanks.

They wont check your phone for that , most of people there dont even know how to put the phone into bootloader mode lol.... a few months back when i had to turn in my Diamond i didnt even flash back to stock they never said or knew the difference haha.

even if they did just tell em to flash it back to stock, if they dont know how just tell em it came like that... hahaha the only reason my techs know about that is because ive shown them how to flash to a different rom so when customers complain about issues with battery and stuff and have a custom rom on there they can switch them back to stock and laugh at them :P

Lmao you just proved that it even more haha. Or another I have used in the past show them your phone what you have done to your phone and all the things you can do there's cant. I have never had to pay insurance on my phone cause I just show them my old one , an they are amazed lol!!!

probably because you failed to extract it (unrar or unzip)... and what its asking you is what program to extract it.... it cant run without being extracted first... Id suggest using winrar to extract and then itll run... if you dont have that, winzip should get it down...

interesting... if you etracted it, you should get a folder w/ a exe. program in it... not a file... and then u run it... i suggest you try to redownload and then run again...

out of curiousity... what the file extension of the file you are getting.

I just downloaded it to see what you were getting and you're not getting the right folder so it's not your fault, there's something wrong with the zip file, it has to be reupped with a new one.

I just downloaded and extracted and its fine... doesnt need a re up...

make sure your downloading the right unlocker... u should be downloading "raphael_cdma_hspl_037"

That's weird bc i can't really unzip it, if I use winrar then I can extract it but i get 1 file, and it should be a folder, the other guy is getting the same thing, a file and not a folder. It says it's an invalid file

Btw, I don't need this, I just wanted to see what file the other guy was getting.

I assuming you were able to unzip and get the folder you need. That problems comes up sometimes, just follow the steps on the screen on how to fix it, it's really simple.

pick up a clean pro on a trade and i ran the unlocker and it shut down my pc into some screen and told me i should restart so i did everything is fine but i put my phone in boot mode again and it says i'm unlocked but i get the error 262 when trying to flash a rom

so i know my TP is not unlocked i tried again and the same thing shuts down my PC and says for me to restart i do and it's safe but i dont want to try again does anyone know my PROBLEM ? and what i should do!

try toredownload since i have never had troubles... ylou seem to have troubles with all these unlockers.... i would check your firewall and virus scan settings or disable during the unlock and flash and see what that does.

i've been trying to find out where i download the "Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.exe " file, so i can flash my touch, but i can't seem to locate it. i downloaded the Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.zip but its not in there (if its supposed to be) and my .net framwork is up to date too. i'm probably missing something. so any advise?

its in a zip folder.... do you have winrar on your pc so you can extract it?

you i have winrar. i can unzip the file fine but inside is an empty file (Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_37) to be exact. and when i extract it and try to open it it asks what program do i want to use. thats where i get stuck.

There is nothing to extract , open up the rar file and double click Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_37.exe and it will run on your computer.

yuppers thats the only way to do it as the tutorials state...... you could actually extract the nbh from that and rename that to RAPHIMG.nbh and than drag it to a freshly formatted FAT32 2 gig card or less and than place the phone into manual bootload and follow the steps (the same process can be done for roms) and if you havent i would suggest that you take a look at my signature below at the tutorial on how to flash roms step by step.... in the tutorials section from the articles tab up top you will also find a vido tutorial on how to flash your touch pro.

thats the wierd thing, when i open the zip folder the file in there has no extention. no .exe or anything.

reformat and try again it should start loading it immediately.

i did it a few times (to be exact) and it starts up quick but stops when it says loading. should i let it load longer then 20 mins maybe? it does something because when i reset it from loading i have to do a hard reset to get my touch to work right again.
