then your doing something wrong
the reg fix works maybe your not letting it take hold before reseting phone after fix.

So, I just updated the radio, reflashed the rom, left the battery out for 1 minute, hard reset, and fixed the reg. Still doesn't let me change themes, at least in portrait...only in landscape.

OH SHIT.....this really pisses me off. It's not the phone, it's the themes. I can change with all the new ones that I recently made and uploaded....but not the old themes that I used to use on my previous rom. No clue why that is. Oh well, thats the least of my worries...seems I'm up and running....

hmmm never heard of that happening with themes unless you didnt make it for WM6 and you left it at the default settings of WM5

Hi Kaos great rom but I am having trouble with the radio,
My phone is a Alltel HTC PPC 6800 I was running rom 3.35.671.9 and radion 03.37.20

I cant get my phone to update radio to titan radio 3.42.30 when I enter bootloader from phone with the radio on micro sd card it does nothing and when I try from activesync it gets to 8% and stops

any ideas?

what bootloader are you running? and how big of a microsd card are you using? bootloader has to be olipro 2.40 or above and microsd card has to be a non sdhc so 2gb and less.

yeah, if that don't work, then use something smaller. i use a 512mb to flash.

you need to set up the email account... i do mine through mail2web.... go to throttle config and than go to the email area and set it up.

and wht i understood from you there has to be a diff param

i figured it out it is very case sensitive in case of gmail it has tobe as Gmailon the throttle's side

ok. quick question here. i just flashed with the take 5!! loving it(runs the touchflo2d perfectly) but on the take 5, when i connect my usb, it doesnt ask me if i want to "connect with activesync or as mass storage" i tried searching for that app but i dont know what name it is. i tried "mass storage" and i got "softick card export" its almost the same thing but i would rather have the one on this rom. can anyone tell me whats the name of that app so i can search it? (or link!!) thanks in advance.

I have this ROM on my 6800 with radio 3.42.30 I have seen a new Titan radio 3.42.50 from the Vogue 3.08 release from Bell what is different and will it work with this ROM and phone

i dont kno if this is the right place to post but it wont let me flash the radio over usb i havent tryed with the memory card but it gets to 8% then says invalid command cant be done on your device i have a ppc 6800??

use the stock 512 mb card and format that to fat32 and you will be golden .

Firstly, this site rocks.

Secondly, I am using take 3 enchanced after flashing back from take 5 because I found it to be bit more stable for how I use it. One difference I liked about take 5 that I would like to have on take 4 is the way the volume control works during a call. In take 4, scrolling wheel brings up the notification balloon where you have to click on the speaker to get to the volume control. On other Kaos versions, it directly adjusts the volume. Any way to get this working on take 4?

format microsd card to fat32. (I have a kingston 2 gig)
copy radio file named TITAIMG.nbh to microsd
insert into phone
hold power + camera button and use stylus and poked the soft reset
im in bootloader screen (red, green, blue, and white) it says tita100 mfg spl - 2.40 olipro. cpld-9.
on bottom it says serial.

how long should i expect to be seeing this screen?

it could be but i'm not sure. i only have sandisk and kingston. check your card and see if it says sdhc or high capacity anywhere. if it does, then you can't use it.

ok its a kingston 2gb micro sd..on the bottom it says sdc/2gb. n0004-001.b00lf. doesnt say anywhere about sdhc.

i never got it to work on a 2gb...Or smaller then a 1gb... i use a 1gb i bought cost me 11 dollars with adapter at radioshack.

ok i finally got to flash the radio via active sync. you'll need hard spl 1.20 olipro in order to flash radio 3.42.30 with the exe file.
i know you guys promote flashing via microsd because it is faster but this would be good info for people that still flash with activesync.

this will prevent command error 328.

after flashing radio, flash back to olipro 2.40 and flash rom.

i just flashed to this rom from the take 5 because of it being better with alltel. but i see that it is based on the radio 3.42 and i see that my radio is 3.37. so i downloaded the radio 3.42 from the link in the first post and when i ran the exe it said it cant be used on my phone..any idea whats wrong?

its not an exe file it is a nbh.... and you being alltel will find better luck if you rename the file TITAIMG.nbh and than format a leftover card (2 gb or under) to FAT32 and than manually place the phone in bootloader by pressing and holding the power and camera buttons while soft resetting with the stylus.... than follow the steps on the phone and you should have no troubles :> let me know how this goes for you

radio is same names to flash sd..you can get a 1gb for like 10 buck from bestbuy or radioshack...

gps works fine...search for a primer....Unless you use garmin or tom tom. which has gps primer built in...I know gps works...Every release i made i ran for a long time....what i release is my copy...

i did read. thats how i found out about someguy mms, but when i read further it said it was for sprint. but thanks ill look for the treo fix.
