why hard reset? just in uninstall and then re-install.....try to redownload the version again, maybe the one you originally downloaded was a currupt file....let us know how it goes
LOL, I think part of the problem is he cant get into his phone to uninstall it. And he said that he already tried to do it through activsync. So his only option left is a hard reset.
