Just got done reading a ton of stuff after DAsh said I should prob stop using a stock ROM and Super gave me 3 to check out.

2: What happens to apps that came with my phone like the "Voice Recorder", "Word Mobile", "Excel Mobile", or the G-Sensor game "Teeter". I assume I no longer have them unless they happen to be included in the ROM, Correct? I saw someone wanted to know what to use for IM messaging. The HTC Pro comes with Yahoo, AIM, ect. So I take it alot of apps are gone.
3: Dash simply said with a cutsom ROM your phone can be the beast it was meant to be. But I see so many people talking about the bad issues in detail. The only good comments are "Awesome" "Love the new ROM ect" So I was wondering What are all the Pros of switching ROMS, besides more space on your device. I know battery life is supposed to be one, but i see people saying there phone is dying faster.

Sorry for the noob questions, but my phone runs flawless on the stock ROM, so just tryin to get all the info i can 1st.
Oh ya, and alot of people have said they had problems with SPrint TV working..
When I opened Sprint TV I saw it was $7.99 or something like that to add channels. I donno if thats per channel or what. But I just clicked exit. I was wondering if you guys who use sprintTV are actually paying extra for it? or is there a way around it.
I tried HAndiTV but it was kinda useless in the way of channels. And MObiTV the atat app doesnt work on the pro. Sprint TV looks awesome in the way of channels. But i wasnt about to dish out even more cash to sprint.
Ok man, this should really be asked in the Touh Pro questions area since its not really specific to this ROM and thread, but I'll answer anyway. Allrighty..... 1st FTW = for the win FTL - for the lose. Basically saying sprints rocks and verizon sucks:) 2nd, the programs that come with the ROM should be listed in the first post of the thread of each particular ROM. Anything thats not included that you want, we have here somewheres. And I mean everything...I dont know of any progams that are out that we dont have or cant get. In fact, we have mostly all the stock apps together in one rar file here:) And 3rd, flashing to one of these ROMs is recommended because it will make your phone operate alot quicker and smoother. As well as having more memory. But you also must keep in mind that every ROM cooked by someone is gonna have flaws, so read the threads and be prepaired for minor glitches, it just comes with the territoy. But if you truly are more happy with your stock rom after flashig, you can always flash back to it.....I think thats pretty much everything. Anything else let me know:)
