did you hard reset and take the battery out after the flash/ this isnt a problem with the rom since when i was running it i had no troubles using the qwerty slideout and your the first out of the whole group to experience.
Agreed, the progrmas going to the backround is kinda common, but that QWERTY thing is a new one by me. And I ran this ROM for a good minute too.
