I have been having the same issues I take my notebook to work on Sat & Sun and I have noticed if I have two many windows open (3 or more) or try to download alot at once PDANET crashes. But other times when playing spades for long periods and not doing anything else its fine. So basically try to reduce so of the things your doing and if you have done already install Call Wall ver 1.4 to block sms and calls from interfering with your connection.

I almost forgot when your notebook do not see your cell go to PDANET on your phone and at the bottom click Stop PdaNet. As soon as you do that go back to it on your phone and the pc will find it. I have to do this 3 or 4 times a day at work myself
