Do you think maybe I should try downloading a different ROM and see if that works or gives me the same error code?
I tried running it as ADMIN, but I don't even know the admin passcode!

Even firefox? Should I completely close everything out except for the download and active sync?

If you cant even open it up and you are positive that the files are correct in the ruu, then it must of been a corrupt download. If you have the ruu folder, and it has the .nbh in it and the romupdateutility and such, and it still gives you an error, then I can think of little other things it may be. You can also try to right click and run as admin on the update utility if your using vista. Eventhough the utility runs as admin by default, you may want to try it that ways anyways.
