Still no luck with the Manila calendar, I've given up on it after 3 days of tinkering with it. If anyone has any insight into this, I would appreciate it.
EDIT: Good news!!! The Manila calendar now works properly, finally after days of trying to figure out the problem. It turned out to be a conflict, which I have fixed :)
