has anyone gotten the quickgps problem to work? i get a connection error on mine. just like the old version for the touch use to be when it wasn't cooked in.

hey guys had the rom for 2 days.. pretty nice... just a few question...
1. no picture mail support?
2. Any one notice a lag when text messaging? ever so often i get a lag after i send a text message, then i leave the message to get back to all of my messages, the the top bar dissapears for a moment (where it says inbox.... received) Or when i'm texting some times the keys wont respond for about 2 seconds then comes back?
3. Hard Reset... i cant get my phone to do a hard reset.. i push the down volume and the center button, then hit the reset button while still holding the volume and center buttons..... so i go into clear storage is that the same as hard reset?

No picture mail support hmm i leave that one to someone else bc i dont use that as far as txt messaging ive never had a lag bro everything works great with this rom ,and yes do a hard reset with clear storage same thing bro .

for picture mail use arcsoft. i'm thinking that each carrier has their own versions. i use sprint. it's 1000 times better than the crappy picture mail that comes stock.

I'm on sprint and the picture mail works fine.

for the picture mail you will have to install your carriers (like sprint alltel) arcsoftmms.cab to get that working. the freezing could still be tf3d-2, are you running that interface? also many roms have this so still can be a bug with wm 6.5 on top of that...... and for the hard reset on your device you have to press and hold power, vol down, center button (be sure you arent touching the d-pad with your finger) than soft reset..... i know its a ***** to do and you need three hands until you get your technique :) good luck

yeah. i've heard there are isssues with sprint tv on this rom. which is really odd because there are a couple of programs that i'm running on it that i haven't been able to run on any custom 6.5 roms yet (pandora and undercover with g-sensor). i figured since it would run those two it would probably run anything.

i believe sprint runs certain programs on different server to accommodate the volume of user.But if i have little time I'll research on it..if i had another phone i can find out.but I'm sure its out there

So i went back to 105 because i like switching between TouchFLo and 6.5 and TF2 is just to buggy for me. I really like 105 but i noticed that after a couple of day now, my phone skips ringing for calls and texts. But it only happens every 2 or 3 times. If i soft reset it works for aa bit but later in the day it goes back. It only does this in 6.5 not in TF.
Did anyone else have this problem with 105 or having this problem or is it just me? Besides that everything is still freekin great!

nope, all you have to do is zip it up and than attach like you normally would.

i also have a couple of nice icon packages that i'm using for this rom (well version 105 anyway). i have one for the taskbars and one for notifications. if anyone is interested in trying them, let me know and i'll post.

weather panel? why not just use the weather built into the touchflo or the titanium? what ui are you using? do you need that program for sure? did you hard reset after flash and take the battery out?

it's all good. i found where there was server problems that had been corrected.

the reason for using it is:

1) titanium only allows one city, which blows.
2) while touchflo allows more than one city (i do use it), the data is very limited. weather panel gives much more detailed info about weather patterns, humidity, moon phases, etc., of any given city for up to 10 days.

so. don't knock it 'till you try it, sir.

i have tried it i was asking why you went with it and all, SIR. its a chinker of an app ansd never understood having sooo much of my screen taken up by a plugin.... so how do you run it with 2nd today or dont you use the titanium or tf ui's?

to start it off, my using "sir" was actually a respectful statement toward D/\SH. i am very honored to have you assist me.

i have a "fast switch" set up to go back and forth between titanium and tf. and within touchflo, i have the left softkey reprogrammed to access SecondToday. which not only has the weather panel, but a few other things as well. oddly enough, Wckediden was the first smartphone site i was ever on. i started with an Apache, then went to a Vogue, now i'm on a Touch Pro. in fact, i did a search for custom upgrades on google (don't remember the exact thing) and you happen to come up. i went to youtube to look at a video and it refereced this site. that's the only reason i even found Wckediden in the beginning.

so, my young friend (i'm 46), you have been my inspiration for getting the most out of my phone that i possible can. and as a matter of fact, my 14 year old is doing the exact same with his Pro.

i thought i would also post a screenie of Pandora working perfectly on NFSFAN's rom (although i'm still running 105). so far his roms are the only 6.5 roms that i've found that will run it with no problems. no tweaking to get it to play the whole songs. nothing. it just works.

that's a particular layout i got from ppcgeeks. if you notice, the icons are large and finger friendly as to where within the normal WP, they're not at all.

i'll get over here and start posting more. i've been spending most of my time over at ppcgeeks tho. not really sure why. sorry.

the only thing i dont like about this rom is that he did not cook in the htc menu enhancements.... i have grown attached to them lol

i like this rom and wanna really get to use it just don't like to use the up and down scrolling like how it is built.. if i can use the htc basic slide side to side with all the tabs that would be lovely i just don't know how to do it... there is a pic of the person using that interface but i tried to use the rom and nothing help to show the different interfaces...

the way i checked the pix was by right clicking and going to properties.. that's how i found the number...

After a few days, I have to admit, this is one of, if not the most impressive roms I've tried on the TP. Snappy as anything (keyboard lag is the only thing I see and that's been in every rom I've tried), insane battery life, and very stable. With every other rom I've used S2U2 has caused a lockup while charging overnight about every 2 days or so if I don't reboot. Haven't rebooted since getting everything installed, and not a single lock.

Guess I'll put 107 on tomorrow and give it a run. Guess I need to learn if there's an easier way to get mobile shell set up. I can save the layout, but that doesn't add the wallpaper, and the contacts I have on one of the lifestyle tabs don't restore quite right.

Actually, on that note, is there a way in Sashimi or like to create an update file for preferences (sounds and notifications, power settings, all that jazz)? I know I can provision the email stuff, got all that set up, but would love to do the rest automatically as well.

well, im not sure what you did, but you need to install the arcsoft cab, just search for it, we have it here, after you install that, you should be all good... this rom does not include arcsoft,...

i say that i will be staying on the newest telus radio since it is doing wonders for me even in my basement where i hardly ever had signal period.... battery life is very steady on it also so i cant complain..... for those michiganders def use the telus radio : )

Ok after testing the new rom for a few minutes there are a few notable differences.

1) Facebook integration seems to be completely gone from the TF3D2 interface. So i guess by saying he solved the problem he actually removed it completely.

2) You are going to have to manually turn off the Accept all incoming beams again from the connections tab to save on battery life once more.

3) If you are a person that notices small things like I do then you will notice when in landscape mode that there was a line going down the right side of the screen. Well that issue was fixed as well.

If anyone does happen to see facebook somewhere and i just overlooked it please correct me if im wrong.
