WM 65 tweaks and customisation

Hi all, I have done a bit of a search of WM65 in an effort to find some tweaks customisations tools so I can have a mess around with it. Particulary I am looking at being able to remap the softkeys for some of the meuns in the home screen for WM65. if anyone knows of any other tweaks or changes you can make to give it a more personal feel that would be great.

I would like to be able to change it around until I find a setup that I like the most.

Other wm6.5 Customizations & Registry Tweaks
(will have cabs and the registry locations for noobs and non-noobs) ;)
Is your activesync continuously popping up on your phone?
if so, then you need the Async Fix:

**DO NOT USE THIS YET-THERE ARE REPORTED PROBLEMS**
Left the cab link here for anyone interested in trying to help figure out why it's not wanting to work.
Otherwise I'm searching for another fix, if I can't find one,
I might just write a mortscript since the only other fixes I have seen disable activesync fully,
meaning you cannot sync using activesync.
SMS160:
Makes Texts go up to 160 characters.
(only works if your carrier allows 160 character texts,
otherwise it will split the text at it's default size)
Sprint, Alltel, And I think Verizon Allow 160.
Bell only allows 140 character texts.
I have no idea about other carriers, sorry!

Skinny 6-7 Reception Bars:
I have alltel and only have 4bars to show my reception level.
This cab makes my phone have 6-7 bars to more accurately show my reception/signal level.

*If you have customized your lockscreen,
the cab installer or copying the file to the windows directory
will overwrite your lockscreen cpr,
Its the same principal as titanium cpr's.
Keep Music Playing:
All you do is install this,
and then when you have music playing in any program,
tap the power button to put in suspend mode,
and you're good to go.

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\State\ Unattended\
Change Wav1 dword value to a "0"
Turn aGPS Off:
If you'd like to use your gps without connecting to a data connection,
use this cab, it should work.
It will make your phone take longer to acheive satellite locks,
but if you don't have a data plan, this is what you most likely want.
*I have not tested it personally as I like aGPS,
but if it does not work, let me know.*

Your try soft resetting after installing the app ?

If soft reset is pressing the button in the bottom with the tip of the stylus, yes i have, stilll doesn't work.

need more details... what do u mean u tried to keep the music playing w/ the device off?

I have no prblem playing music from my windows media player plugin and turnin off my screen... it could be the music app your using, they type of rom u may be using, any number of things...need more specificis please...

I don't know how to look up the rom, but i mean with the device in stand by. I know that with the music player in the touch flow if I put it on the home screen and let it sit for awhile the screen will turn off but the music will keep playing, but if I press the stand by button when i'm playing it it stops the music.

Try psshutxp...it has a screen off option.
