6800 flashed to cricket but internet not working

I have recently flashed my sprint mogul to cricket but the personnel at the retail store cannot get the internet to work on my phone. the sales person said that it was because my phone is new and has never been activated on sprint vision services. How do I get the internet to work with the cricket network or should I just flash my phone back to sprint.

cricket is very hit or miss for the internet to work...... we dont have a way thats fool proof and proven to consistantly work...... looked everywhere for the answer and just cant find it :<

I am running vetvitos, schwartzwald 5..25, and it works great. Cricket internet no way near as fast as sprint, but for $45 a mo, cant be beat. follow instructions on this thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=18836

Hello whats going on new to Smart phone junkies. I have an htc mogul 6800 got it flashed 12/20/2008 but did not get the text messaging, and internet. Now I pay for the service and am not able to use it. How do I go about setting up these features on my phone? I typed in the ##778# but did not see my number@cricketsomething... Lol. So I was stuck at the espt screen not knowing what to do.

To access the info under ##778# you need your MSL number. If you dont have it, we have a program here that will let you obtain it. Just search for it with the green search button:)

I am new to this forum and I found it via a GOOGLE search. So far I am loving the helpful information that I am comming across.

I am having an inssue with my flashed xv6800. It was flashed from Verizon to Cricket. At first the internet was working, but not it wont.

I had to soft reset the phone, and now the internet will not work. I tried to go into the epst settings in this post, but couldn't find my number. Tried to search for a MSL number program via the green search, but am still confused as to what I was looking for.

If someone could break it down for me I am sure that I could figure things out. Thank you in advance for all the help. Have a great day!

First things first....which ROM are you using?

Are you using Arcsoft v5 something

I am guessing that the registry tweaks have already been done, a soft reset should not affect those nor should a soft reset affect your settings...

Check this first...chances are a pointer got misdirected...

Settings->connections->advanced

You should come up with a couple of things that are called cricket...you can check the settings and make sure that the dial number is #777......Cricket is what it looks for to connect (I oopsed mine and had it as "My connection" and it would not work...it HAS to be cricket)

One thing that you might find is that in your EPST settings it will haveyour username set to something like "yourphonenumber"@vzw3g.com

Follow it and you should be fine...I have a post in there reference the re-authentication...make sure that you change your settings back to re-authenticate...

If that still doesnt work, we will figure it out....the settings for a mogul/xv-6800 can be a little testy....
