Just wondering: I remember reading in the past about someone having the same ESN on two phone and when receiving a phone call, both phones would ring. Would I be able to accomplish this by having the same ESN on both phones or is this guy lying/some sort of other method?

yes you can but he is risky sprint can tell this and they can report to the feds and you will go to prison. you can do this but power down both phones and than turn one on and you will be fine.

lets say you have a cheap phne through the provider and you buy one with dirty numbers of higher quality and price for a cheap amount. jsut clone the esn from your old phone onto the more expensive and it will work again.

Does anyone have any exp with Telus phones? ,I've gotten into the file system. But cannot get into the NVM files because it is blocked /has a red circle slash sign. I tried flashing a verizon rom, but its still blocked. would a sprint rom make a difference?

im not sure if it would or wouldnt since i have never performed this operation on a telus unit...... i would ask at the site you got the program from and see if they know........

Hey D/\SH or I guess anyone for that matter. I was interested in trying this on a Touch with a bad esn. I went to the mobile-files website and you need to register. Well it has one of those verification images (fill in the letters/numbers on the right) and the link is broke. It will not allow you to register. I have tried several different computers over the past week and even tried to email the administrator but you guessed it; it also has a verification image that you need to fill in that is broke.

My question is, are you registered there? Could you send them a quick email asking them to fix the verification image so I could register and try this out. Or better yet just post the info on good ol' Wckediden.

A lot to ask I know but I thought I'd give it a shot. Just wanted to do something with this expensive paperweight.

I have been Googling my butt off trying to figure this out. I am unable to edit the NVM folder because it has a red line through it (Using Qpst can't open it). Well I got the phone working. Actually much easier then I thought. Only issue I am having is the internet. Haven't got that working yet. I am sure it is something to do with the vision username/password because I keep getting the 67 errors.

Can make and receive calls fine, just no internet! So close but yet so far...hahaha

I am a Sprint user. I am using my old razr (Sprint) and cloning that esn on the touch (also Sprint). I can make and receive calls fine. Caller ID comes over as the razr so I am know it is working, just not the internet. You have some ideas????

So u r receiving service on the touch, just no data? And I am assuming u have data on ur plan ,of coarse? Have u tried installin a DCD carrier cab?

Hey thanks for the reply. Yea, I used it last night to make a few test calls (Yes the other phone was off and no battery in it while testing) and it works fine. Yes I also have a data plan. No I haven't installed a DCD carrier cab. Only thing I did was the esn write that was written by Shadowmite that Dash listed above. I am a NOOB so bear with me if I sound like I don't know what I am doing (I'm learning but far from actually knowing .. so I guess that is the first step...hahaha).

I wouldn't think that I would need to run the carrier cab because both phones were already active on Sprint accounts (not a verision switch over. It (razr and touch) were purchased from Sprint). The Touch (now using the razr esn) has sprint service and the sprint rom on it, wm6.1. It was used by someone else and now it has a bad esn or used to have a bad esn until I did the esn clone (previous owner of touch didn't pay his bill(s) so it was blacklisted until he pays up).

Do you think this could be my answer? I just went to ppcgeeks and found a thread that had a DCD for sprint that is dated 1-16-09. Let me know what you think. I am going to kick myself if that is all that was needed!

Id try and make a new connection through #777 as dash suggested, and if it's still not working, then go ahead and install the carrier cab... as for everything else, I think your overthinking it.... neither of those options should make your situation anyworse...

Alright I made a new connection and did the DCD cab. No luck. Still getting the 67 error. My head hurts I am over thinking this that much...hahaha Still think it has to do with the username/password because I never changed anything with that. its been done many times..... an esn is an esn and wont matter if it came from a smartphone, ppc, or java based phone..... as long as it is from the same provider you are good.... i dont know what else could be causing it than besides the settings under ##778# being out of tweak or something..... but never heard that on a vogue before.

I was wondering if someone could help me out. I finally got a free minute to try and get the internet working on this phone and still nothing. Phone is working great using the donor ESN but no internet. Here is what I've got:

- Sprint Razr (donor ESN phone) and Sprint Touch (Had bad ESN now has Razr ESN).
- Have Data plan on my Account.
- Did the changes from the original post and phone works fine (can make and receive calls)
- When I try and connect to the internet it gives me error 67, can not connect #777 and 1012 error.

What I have tried:
- Start/settings/services/internet/get settings/ and start IOTA.
- Tried making a new connection under start/settings/connections/connections and setup a new #777 connection.
- Changed Active Profile from 0 to 1 in ##3282#

None of this worked. Under ##3282# my settings are:
User Name:
Active Profile - 1
MIP_MODE - Mobile IP Only
User Name - (My Username)@sprintpcs.com
SPI MN-HA - 4D2
SPI MN-AAA - 4D2
ReverseTunnel Pref - Enable
Home Agent IP Address - 0.0.0.0 (for some reason it will not let me edit this setting)
Primary Home Agent - 0.0.0.0
Second Home Agent - 0.0.0.0
HA Shared Secret (HEX) Blank
AAA Shared Secret (HEX) Bunch of characters


Advanced:
ESN - Donor ESN (From Razr)
MSID - My Phone number

Not sure if any of this makes sense. I am just trying to get the internet working. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas. It does say "Preparing vision services" when I try to connect to the internet but always fails with error 67 Username and/or Password incorrect. Also get Cannot Connect Dialed #777. Also get error code 1012 could not prepare Vision services please try again later.

ImCokeMan have Release HardSPL MFG Verison for 6900 which is 2.31.Coke SPL this SPL along with alltel 3.37 Radio can be used to SupeCID 6900 for Making the Device Security Level Zero the Way we did it for 6800.......

I can help answer your questions if you are a little more specific. I am really just learning this stuff myself so please remember that I am by no means a expert. I have been able to get the phone working, but not the internet. I am sure it is something dumb that I have overlooked but nothing yet.

Let me know what questions you have and I'll try and help.

The hard part for me was mtty. Looking back it really wasn't a big deal when I read the instructions better.

I am not sure what you're talking about. I just went to the website that Dash listed in the first post here and it works for me. I will be more then happy to help you if you are having problems with a particular step in the directions provided. To "walk" you through it would be kind of hard. The directions are pretty straight forward (sorry hope that doesn't sound mean!).

Which part are you having a problem with. Make sure you get ImCokeMan's program loaded first onto your Touch (link is provided). It has to be placed into security level 0 before you can start making the changes. I didn't use the Alltell ROM. I just used Sprints latest one for the Touch. You could flash to the Alltell then back to Sprint if you want but I didn't.

Give it a shot and just work through his directions. They are really pretty good.

I just did a quick google search for Vogue_unlocker_MFG_2.31.exe . There are tons of hits from other sites and a bunch on our site Wckediden. Just make our/your search button your friend or use google. I know it takes a bit to figure out how get around here but you'll get the hang of it :specool:

Anyway here some easy directions for the unlocker program that I found:

1) Connect your phone to your computer and establish an ActiveSync connection.
2) Run the Vogue_unlocker_MFG_2.31.exe on your computer and follow all of the prompts (including when to disconnect the USB cable and reconnect).
3) After you get into Windows, do the Power-Camera-Reset to get into ImCokeMan's Bootloader (the rainbow screen).
4) Run the Alltel ROM exe file (follow all prompts).

Just run the program. Make sure you have the proper drivers (you should if you have activesync installed. Click on my computer then go to device manager and find out which com port your touch is using. Select that com port and enter the commands that are listed in the instructions. I believe it is steps 7 thru 14. Make sure it is in the bootloader state.

p.s. Just know that doing all this could really mess up your phone. It could mess it up to the point that you can't use it anymore. I am by no means an expert at this, actually far from it. I am still stuck myself on getting my internet to work on the phone. So.....if things go bad for you I probably won't be able to help you fix it. Not that I wouldn't lend a helping hand, it's just because I am learning this stuff myself.

This error occurs during the CE ROM code upgrade process.

Solution: If this happens, you can just soft-reset the device and run RUU again. The update process will then continue.

How can i fix this or how else can i unlock it ????

dman all those errors? are you trying to run it on a 64 bit operating system? and you can use winrar and extract the contents of the unlocker and you will find a .nbh file in there. take all the other files but the nbh and throw them in your recycle bin. than take the nbh and rename it to VOGUIMG.nbh and place that on a FAT32 formatted 2 gig card or less (you will lose all data on the card so back up or use backup card) than place the phone in manual bootloader by pressing and holding the power and camera buttons while soft resetting. a screen will than appear and just follow the steps to unlock your device. let me know if this works for you but i have done this many times since the vogue hardspl aka unlocker wont run on 64 bit systems :sad:

It works (I think), but at this point I have no idea how to connect with cdma workshop 2.7. If I reboot the phone and type ##3424 (I used the Verizon rom) I can't change the ESN, but otherwise I don't know how to connect to a COM port. I changed the CID to 00000000 (eight zeros right?), and every time I type "readCID" that's what comes up.

if you change the ESN from one phone to another, say from a cheap from to a Titan or any other HTC phone, if you loose that new phone and report it to the insurance (asurion in my case) will they send me the new phone i transferred the ESN to, or the old phone i had initially?

if you change the ESN from one phone to another, say from a cheap from to a Titan or any other HTC phone, if you loose that new phone and report it to the insurance (asurion in my case) will they send me the new phone i transferred the ESN to, or the old phone i had initially?

Yea im guessing u would get the newer phone but how would u change the esn number thats my question

you would get the old phone since that esn would be active on your account showing what it belongs too.

I did everything as stated from the vogue unlocker to alltel rom and I still can't repair the ESN.
Please Help
the bootloader is
VOGU100 MFG
SPL-2.31.Coke
CLPD-3

rom is the alltel rom provided and I've done the commands in mtty 1.42
when I get on CDMA Workshop it says "Failed. ESN has not been changed."
when I load the phone up in QPST the NVM folder is locked also.
Please help me at this moment I have no phone on and I need to turn this on ASAP.

as we have stated in the first post of the thread even as well as throughout. we dont condone or do this so all support will have to come through the site linked in the first post...... we dont give support on this since it is highly illegal. and why were you trying to clone that phone if it was working fine for you?
