Overview: SMS-Chat is a Windows Mobile SMS messenger that organizes your SMS correspondence into threaded SMS conversations. This way you have a separate chat for every contact with whom you exchange short text messages. You can easily follow a conversation scrolling thru chats with a finger: all messages are grouped by date. Manage your mobile texting with a flick of a finger!

Does anyone know what the difference between this and version 2.01 is?

I got this program and it didint work on my phone so i got rid of it. Now there is an sms chat folder in my text messages section of my phone. Is there anyway to delete the folder?

it does work...... cna you share what didnt work for you???? and sms is text messages so you would want that under your messages folder.

Well I have a motorola q9m and the program only works if you have a touch screen.Theres an extra folder in the text message section made for this product and i cant get rid of it. Any ideas?

ummmm just highlight and click the bottom right on screen softkey with the hard key below it to bring up the menu and than there should be a delete...

I have sms app and everytime I get a pic it comes in my sms like normal with link but its not in blue so I cant click on it to go there also wont let me copy it so what do I need to do to see my pics I can send them I have the new smms app just cant c them

thats why i dropped the app. there is no way to be able to do anything with the links. thats also the reason that really pushed me to go back to WM 6.1 and have the built in sms messages which work awesomely.

Im sorry to keep posting but I really cant delete this folder i tried to hit the left softkey but there arent any choices to delete. Is there a place in my files to navigate to or a registry fix?

i doubt it i would try pocket mechanic pro or sk tools and see if you can delete it.

Does anybody know if the vito-sms chat deletes itself after 14 days and then ask you to purchase it?

Also if you want to view links and picture mail. YOu have to foward the msg copy paste it to url of the phone.

this is a full precracked version...... i have no clue why it isnt registered for you mandingo but for everyone else including me it registered fine.

dude look at the last couple posts it just talks bout it please read the threads. these threads are here for a reason and that is to gather information so read them before asking questions becuase from noow on if this continues i will skip all the double posts and ask the other staff to also sicne this laziness is getting out of hand

You have to go into messaging to view any links an picture mail. Go to your text messages folder, and hit the plus sign on the SMS-Chat folder. Go to incoming, and you can view them from there.

If I cant view pics that are sent to me thanks to vitosms then I am done with this program! Why would they even make a stupid program that cant open picturemail! So smart but yet so dumb!

Don't really see a difference between this ver and the older, must just be bug fixes? Anywho, I think this app is awesome, and one of the best sms threaders I have seen...If anyone has better PM me! Thanks ALOT!!

are you serious? read the thread look at the post right above yours. it tells you how to do it.

Hey

Anyone know if there is a way to make Vito sms take over the pre existing 6.1 threaded sms? I.e make it so when you click on new message on the today screen it goes straight into vito instead of the stock threading sms?

I really don't think there is a way...I looked for about two days straight, here and ppcgeeks, for a fix like that...The only thing I could do is go back to my old threader which is the SMS Threader(Palm style). Which is basic as HELL, and prolly not even able to post on this website because it was basically just ripped straight off the palm os. But I have WM6, so Im not really 100% about my advice, but pretty sure there isn't a way to do it....If anyone has any other ideas please help out, cause I wouldn't mind using VITO also!!

i use the stock one that comes with WM 6.1 and love it and have no problmes with it but as JBudness already stated there is no way to do this that we know of yet.

I found this version bugger then the last. I notice that when I had long chats and I would scroll all the way to the top-the newer messages at the bottom would disapear. I would have to exit the chat and go back in. Just Fyi..

wow, I never had this problem when I had it installed on mine....I would try an uninstall and re-install followed by soft reset....

I have this and everything is cool wit it but i was just wondering if there was any way to get the messages not to pop up when they come through? Is there a way to just get an icon or something to pop up and not the actual message...

naw its made to mock the iphones way of text messages....
