Overview: SMS-Chat is a Windows Mobile SMS messenger that organizes your SMS correspondence into threaded SMS conversations. This way you have a separate chat for every contact with whom you exchange short text messages. You can easily follow a conversation scrolling thru chats with a finger: all messages are grouped by date. Manage your mobile texting with a flick of a finger!

thats for sure i love it myself i just wish that on the htc home plugin for the text icon between the email and the missed call icon would open this automatically.

yeah...is there anyway to map it there at all?...also now my alert light (orange one) is constantly blinking since i installed...keep checking my phone every few min to see if i missd a text email call etc...anyway to turn it back to running green til new alerts happen?

After installing this program I was joyed. Now I notice that my messages only send if I open the other messaging between email and missed calls first. Do I need to erase the other threaded messaging first for it to work properly? Also is there a way to map vito to the message icon on the htc home plugin?

not that i know of and i dotn have the problem with the blinking light constantly going off..... i would do a soft reset and see what thta does and if that doesnt work take the battery out for 3 seconds and than put back in and boot up and you should be fine.

why would you have 2 threaded messaging apps. are you running 6.1 if so i wouldnt use this sice threaded is already installed. if not make sure you dleete the other program that you were using and try again.

Hey dash, any update on getting it to open automaticall through the home page or even getting a plugin?

you could softkey assign to the calendar button...making it a replacement in the registry.

Changing SoftKeys
Create the following keys and Strings in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 2
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 3
112 is the left key and 113 is the right.
Set Default to what you want the key to read (ie. SMS)
Now for each key create a new string named Open and set the target path.

Thanks kaos. actually what i just ended up doing...for all mogul isers using this program you can assign vito messaging to the actal text messaging button located at the top of the phone. Settings>Buttons> and just reassign it there. I know its not a plugin which would be really awesome, but its better than nothing.

Ohh and Dash idk if this is possible but could you get parts of the goodwin home screen and use that as a plugin in the HTC homescreen? Just an idea.

nope that is impossibe to do since its in a launcher and not a homescreen. but i would recommend what i use and many others do and that is called ultimate launch.

hey das quick question, with the new sprint update what are you using for texting? I want threaded sms but which do u suggest?

And also I want to install this in my sis mogul, is there a way to map the htc home text icon to this app instead of it opening the lame text that moguls originally came with?

i use this and as discussed to death when i get a chance i ill look in the registry to see if it can be mapped to the button but as of right now no i just have it in my launcher.

i just had the same problem last night to when i got a picture message..... no clue man on this one i wrote it down and than typed it in since it wont let you copy and paste...... hopefully they will fix this soon.

ya i tried to hit a download link but couldnt even copy and paste it. i was trying to get yahoo go sent to me from yahoo to my phone but the link didnt work. than the one on here dont work no more. than i cant find out wat version to get for my phone in the website i had found that had it listed since none them had our phones as an option.

this is a pain for links which we need since how our pic mail is set up

i couldnt get it emailed to my phone and i guess i was trying to get yahoo go 3.0 and also when i found it on this site the link wouldnt work and i guess you posted in the thread that you lost the program do to a server crash or something

theres a link though posted in the thread just the attachments dont work the links are fine since they are on a rapidhsatre of file share server not ours. and 3.0 is out for WM yet just symbian

when you download 2.0 for windows mobile it asks to choose your phone the 67-00 6800 6900 aka touch are all close enough that they will work on eachother so if your phone isnt there use one of them.
