skyfire updated oct 18

Updated October 18th* - The new 8.0.7 version of Skyfire fixes many of the bugs you might see in the comment section including some sound issues when watching flash videos. If you already have Skyfire, be sure to upgrade to the latest version. :PDT_Armataz_02_22: i use this all the time to get on actual Wckediden and reply 2 posts!

Downloaded this to give this a try, been using Opera and not pleased with the hang time I get each time I use it, but like the mobile view it offers.
As for Skyfire, I like the speed that it has however is there a better way to set up so you do not have zoom in on everything, each time? (like how the mobile view is for Opera, does Skyfire have that option?)

Good point but the problem is Skyfire do not have an option for that a default zoom level. Thats one of the problems I have with it besides the freezing and the downloading problems so Im waiting for another update.

yes this is all very true..... but i would sacrifice the trivial zoom feature for the great flash support.... like 99.9% of the time im watching youtube or sum sort of flash video with skyfire.... but hey thanks for the review/comments :113:

I can see where for those who use those apps Skyfire would be the hands down, no doubt about it PPC Broswer to use. ;)

Yea I tried this on my TP the day I got it (25th from local BB) - Had heard lots of great reviews but I could not get it to work on my TP. lol! hold ur horses! no haha j/k... first do a soft reset.. and if that doesnt work... then take ur battery out for a couple minutes and soft reset again..... and if that doesnt do the trick then please tell us

sometimes the server gets annoying and doesnt provide sounds, i suggest h tries again l8tr

i have the latest vrsion just released, its kick ass, but if the downloads werent so gay id get rid of opera, cuz it mostly fails...

did u soft reset after install? I had the same prob and a soft reset made it all good

hey dash, what's good? so I downloaded skyfire and everything worked hood, I had to do a hard reset and now that I re-installed skyfire is asking me for an e-mail and password? I tried my sprint's email but is telling me that the info is wrong, I soft reset and also tried re-instaling it several times but I get the me outcome. the first time I installed it I don't remember getting an e-mail/password screen. any ideas.

Sounds like you installed the QVGA version. Try again and select the VGA version
