Since i didn't see it posted.I will posted it for easy accces.

psShutXP - easily turn off, display off and restart your Pocket PC

How to install this software?

Download the psshutxp_eng.xscale.cab or psshutxp_eng.vga.xscale.cab for VGA version to your desktop PC and copy the file to your device using ActiveSync. On the device click on cab file in the file explorer. Setup procedure will start only on the device. You can find program in default folder - "\Program Files\psShutXP". After first run psShutXP creates two icons in "Program" folder psShutXP and Display Switch (bind it with your favorite button) and switch Display in any time while other program working.

Description:
With psShutXP for Pocket PCs you can easily control power and display of your PDA. psShutXP is good free extension for Wisbar Advance 1.x and 2.x. Extend WisBar Advance functions with psShutXP. Unlike other similar utilities psShutXP covers all power functions:
# Soft Reset;
# Shutdown;
# Display switch Off/On (You can bind it to any hardware key);
# Password lock;
# You can also schedule all these functions using timer dialog;
# Icon in "Today" screen in the tray for quick access
# Microsoft Windows XP-style main dialog with gray background and shadow;
# Program is very small, only 35 Kb;
# look for and apply funny skins for psShutXP or create new one;
# for advanced users psShutXP has a hidden function: hard reset with double confirmation;
# Also we have special version for WM2003SE that supports VGA screen.
# some WisBar Advance themes include skin for psShutXP!

yeah.. we had psShutxp on the site sence i can remember (begining of the year) the same one iv been skinning? so is this a newr version ?

What ver should I download for the HTC Fuze... I would think it is the VGA one, But I can get it to show any of the skins for it...

Sorry...typo...I can't get it show any of the skins for it. I have tried everything, soft rest and a different skins as well. When I installed it, there wasn't any psshutxp_skin.gif or psshutxp_skin_eng.gif in the /program files/psShutXP folder in my phone. So I am at a lost here....

there wont be just throw them in the folder and they will show up as long as you are using vga skins.

Yeah I did get it to work. I was trying to use the why so serious and the alienware skins and they didn't work. They must be QVGA... What we really need is a TF3D why so serious theme to pull it all together....hit hit!!!

touchflo themes take over 30 hours to construct thats why we dont do requests but look out for one sicne someone is bound to make one up :>

no, you leave it as is only choose what format as instructed vga or qvga once you choose drop it in the folder and reset the phone

make sure you are using the vga version and also make sure you only have one theme in the psshutxp folder at a time...

yeah, i already made sure of all those things and still nothing :(

I installed, then I dl some skins (they are all GIF files and vga -size 440x280) I copy a skin to the program files\psShutxp folder, then soft reset and nothing.

huh works fine for me without troubles..... is it built into the rom that you are using?

Ummm...didnt work on my Vogu :-(

It only shuts off the backlight when selecting "shut down". Actually it pretty much does the same for every button (I know, weird as hell).

Downloaded and overwrote a couple of times, uninstalled and re-installed with a SR each time and nothing....

Yikes!

in the future please try to read the thread since it has been discussed that power off only shuts down the screen.... it is that way to imitate xp..... the other soft reset the devices (far right) and works fine...... this works o nthe vogue and is skinnable we have a skins section here) so you should be able to find them easily.
