I see:

Phone Model: htc touch pro
Mobile Windows Version: 6.1

under your name. This rom is for the touch, not touch pro. The touch pro is vga, has more ram, is basically a different beast.

Check the rom section for the touch pro roms like Juggalo's rom.

Also, if you are with Verizon, it is my understanding that their version of the Touch Pro has been hacked up quite a bit. It has half the memory and some crazy keyboard change. Therefore, I don't think the TP roms will work with it either unless it is made specifically for Verizon. (I could be wrong on that one)

anybody else having issue with their battery meter goin screwy? i tokk my phone of the charger after an all night charge and it went straight to 94% never did that on stock rom....i guess i'll flash again and see if that solves, if any of you had that problem and figured out a solution let me know. thanks again koas, roms fast as sh*t.

Help!!! im stuck at the red, blue, green screen...I downloaded the SPl,, Ruu and NBh, files...do I drag the ruu and nbh files into the SPL?? I tried running the Exit bootloader, but nothing seems to be working...I do get to the wizard and then it looks like its installing then it goes back to the red, blue, green screen...I've read the noob guide to installing roms about 100 times...HELP!!!

thans normal dont unplug like we have said in this thread and others thousands of times... it wont look like your connected to activesync but as long as your phones screen say usb and not serial you are still connected even though oyour pc wont show it..... than just follow the on screen steps... so if you have your phone unlocked just do this

1. drag nbh file to the ruu
2. connect to activesync or mobile device center
3. run romupdateutility.exe
4. follow the steps without unplugging no matter what
5. DONE.|

I tried dragging the NBH file into the RUU, but it wouldn't go...it could not find the program to open the RUU...how do I open it/what program do i need to run th RUU...I unplugged the phone from the computer...I"M A DUMA$$...is my phone toast?? also, i'm posting under the wrong version, this should be under version 5 (sorry)

well read the noob guide again, this rom is for the vogue aka touch you have the mogul. koas take 3 is the one you want bro. you might brick your phone if you keep tryin to flash this rom.

Did you unrar the RUU? It should be a normal folder after its unrared.

please take it to the take 5 so poeple dont get mistaking and you need to drag the nbh to your sdesktop first...... and to open the ruu and get in there you need winrar or winzip...

just drag the nbh file into the ruu folder. unlock phone make sure it sticks. then run the exe. and follow steps. make sure if you have to pull battery out and wait do it to have new page pull. read the how to flash guide in koas's sig. very very simple.

Kaos is currently cookin a ROM for the Touch Pro. Its in the beta stage rite now and only open to select testers till all the bugs get worked out. Im flashing the latest beta now, and let me tell you.......your patience will def be rewarded. This ROM is so sweet, it will blow all others out of the water!!!

1. download the custom rom of your choice. (that I downloaded from here)

2. connect to activesync and run the unlocker found here: https://www.wckediden.com/show...touch+unlocker (I already did that with COCK 2.31 radio unlocker)

3. once done with unlocking the bootloader drop the nbh file (get when download rom) into the RUU Folder found here: https://www.wckediden.com/show...ghlight=RUU%2A

Hey thanks guys for all your help. I found RUU and I used above Kaos's nbh file, I finished flash my phone 100%, but at the end phone still stuck at 3 colors and then I took battery out for 1 minute and hard reset the phone........still when phone started again I see only 3 colors on my phone ......nothing else>>>>>>>> any idea???? what else I can do????

than you didnt flash correctly...... are you sure you followed all the steps like unlocking the phone.

naw if you still have the rainbow screen you didn't unlock, it will say coke 2.31 if you did it correctly....make sure you disconnect from activesync during unlock when it says...follow all steps exactly how it says then you'll be golden.

OK I tried all over again
1.placed new 6.1 official stock rom from htc for sprint
2.I unlock with 2.31 cock(I doubled check before use custom rom its show 2.31 cock)
3.Tried to flash with new cutom rom
at the end again it still showed the tri color rainbow ........I dont know what wrong I am doing it. I desperately want this custom rom. can somebody give me advice..........

well I would think if you ran the coke unlocker before then you did it again you may have relocked it, but you said it shows coke 2.31 so if thats not the problem, are you sure you placed the nbh file for Kaos's rom into the ruu folder before running the ruu? It shouldv'e asked you something about overwriting the original nbh file already in the ruu folder...

Actually Kaos's download has only .nbh file, I try to donwload RUU file from ppcgeeks.com and then I flash the rom and it went up to 100% download but at the end still 3 color rainbow????????. If you dont mind can you upload Custom RUU for HTC Touch so I can retry with that. I am unable to open from this site given by DASH... thanks

you have to use a blank RUU folder. Youu can not use the RUU that comes with the unlocker:)

yes it will work but he will have to run the dcd carrier cab for cricket if he has one available..... since im 99.9% sure that it is cdma.
