yes but it depends on the site cuz flash lite 3.1 = flash player 8. youtube works great and you can even play it full screen and also other sites, but if they upgraded to flash 9 or later then no...

you would need flash for the opera browser and skyfire automatically has it enabled.

i tried to install the qvga version for the device, a stock touch btw, but the .zip says sd same as the one one the bottom. anyway it wont work on my touch for some reason, the opera mobile thing pops up and looks like its loading but then just goes blank.

any ideas?

you need to kill all processes for it to take, you can use sktools to do so or just do an upgrade (replace Opera9 and OperaL only in windows)

haven't gotten to really test the "flash" support, still doesnt work with the touch keyboard or keypad... but atleast it doesn't switch up keyboard when you click in a type field.

i like the zoomin in the corner too. i had been checking Opera for a new update but they only have the old one...

this question may not make sense (noob) haha..but does this replace the current opera that came with my touch pro?? for example...if i go to NET on tf3d to launch browser, will it be the new opera or the old??

since your updating your version of opera its overwriting the old if not mistaking thus making it open the new version.... ive been MIA for the past couple days so didnt get to try this yet but if it asked you if you wanted to overwrite the previous version than you are good, if not than it would open the old version.....

go to remove programs in settings....remove the other version...soft reset....then install the new version....

ok on the touch pro it has the 2009 opra broswer and this opra browser 9.5 says 2008. witch is better? im having a problem with the opra browser on my tp. sense i flashed my rom when i try to down load some thing it goes through all the steps but does not down any more. if i switch to this one will that change? also with this opra browser will it still have all touch options as the one that came with the tp? like on the d pad can u still zoom in and out by going around the d pad with your thum?

i reccomend build 15954, its designed for the diamond/pro series so all the touch features and gsensoed support should work. its faster more stable and has better flash support than your current version

if its a diamond build then yes cuz it installs in windows/opera9, an omnia build will replace the launch link but not the install files cuz it installs in application data/opera9 so tf3d links wont work cuz it reads from windows/opera9

You know, I was going to tell you but I just checked out youtube on my pro and it's telling me that I need to upgrade to flash player 10. The previous version (which is still posted in the first post) when i went to youtube on my pro it worked flawlessly for me which is the first time it ever has with opera for me.

so i uninstalled opera, soft reset, and tried to reinstall and the progress bar is completed but in the end it says unsuccessful..??

ive installed the 16983 version, and now opera wont even catch a connection. it tries for a while, but nothing. my data does work, im actuallly using skyfire to write this post. I dont know if its my rom or what. can anyone confirm 16983 working on a pro?

im having the same problem bro, the installation said it was unsuccessful (for whatever reason) and now when i try to open opera, i get a new black screen that says HTC on it, but then after a few seconds it closes. I then tried to re-install a previous version of opera that worked and it still doesnt open...ill probably hard reset my phone unless theres another way

i installed it & my screen goes to a black wallpaper says HTC & "loading" but it eventually goes back to titanium without ever opening. so after reading your posts, i've used SKTools to uninstall it completely. i am now installing NFSFANS's OPera 16643 VGA, it installed & opens/runs like a champ!! i'm going to stick with NFSFAN's version, i luv it anyway.

I had the same problem, a reset solved it. Opera is working perfectly on my stock HTC Fuze now. I cannot get flash to work however...
