ok i figured it all out the problem is is that i couldn't down load the 1st file i had to save it to desktop change the name to .zip then i had to rename the white file .rar and it work i have everything running except 1 thing my today screen background color is still black and not the blue color and ideas?

If you installed all the appropriate cabs, you can go to your settings tab and choose wallpaper. When it asks if you want default, click no. It will take you to your picture viewer. You should have three backgrounds in your "My Documents" folder (as stated in instructions). Pick the one you want, and you're good.

Yeah, well when you installed the cab you should of disabled TF3D, and so upon completion, you have to enable it again. And the Wallpaper option in your settings tab won't have the wallpaper themselves, but it will direct you to your folders where you go to "My Documents." Anyway, glad you got it.

So, my first attempt at a tweak met with no success. In the instructions Probex says: "From your device using totalcomander or whatever. move the manila files to your windows folder and overwrite when prompted."
I tired that using two file explorer windows open on my PC.
It failed saying that the files were protected and could not be overwritten.
What am I doing wrong?

you didnt fully read where he says that you have t use resco file explorer or total commander to overwrite rom files.

also, you supposed to do it from the phone only, not through your computer.

Aha, I did not know that, duh, that changes everything....except, how do you copy a file with resco explorer to windows when you can have only one window open on your PPC?

its a windows phone so it is like a computer. you click and hold on the file and than a popup screen comes up and gives you a list... just choose copy or cut and than click and hold in a free area and than click paste.

Hey I think I got it! It's just the flip clock, right? The clock doesn't do appear in the landscape mode (as I guess it shouldn't). Now I'll try the whole theme cab. Here goes!

One more questions before I jump in. If I want to install this theme and flash ROM, should I flash first then install the theme?
I'm not sure which ROM I want, Mighty ROM looks good I guess but from what I've heard doesn't have any added apps and has no stock Sprint apps. I would like to keep the Sprint TV, I assume I can add that to any ROM since I have the .cab. Not sure what other Sprint apps will be removed from the phone with that ROM.

Your right bro its flip clock and you should get flip clock on landscape correct me if im wrong ,yes flash first bc if you install the theme first the theme wont be there any more bc youll have to hard reset and its gonna whipe that theme off ,Id say go with mighty rom bro .

Not sure, when I turn to landscape the screen doesn't change orientation. When I open keyboard in landscape, the regular screen comes on.

I have the problem with the taskbar after installing the "PROBEX-blue-vga.cab". Everything looks good (Start, Activesync, battery, bluetooth, etc) except for the signal icon. However when there is a call, the signal icon is ok, but not during standby.

I have tried installing "SDKCERTS.CAB" before re-installing the PROBEX-blue-vga.cab. But it doesn't help.

I search through this forum and someone mentioned that to change the shellres file. But can any Pro be more specific as which file needs to change and change to what name?

I have got three shellres in my Windows folder: shellres.192.dll, shellres.dll and shellres.dll.0409.mui. Which one to change?

How about you try installing the taskbar again ,unistall everything that has to do with the taskbar if u run in2 trouble use sktools to delete files that cant be deleting under remove programs then follow the simple instruction giving to you under the custom taskbar thread.If that dont work well try something else .

No not this one wont work on your Mogul but if you go into Theme's and tf2d there is a Vista one that look similar too it, take a look at it.

1) it seems to make the phone run a little slower, opening apps and such, any reason for that?:
2) Sprint TV is gone, can I just install the Srpint TV .cab to get it back?:
3) If I need to go back to the stock theme, ect, do I just remove these .cab files?
4) Is there a way to get 4 icons in the Programs window?
5) My wallpaper does not have the globe anywhere, why?

Hmm running slow?Dont know y bro maybe you have to many apps running on ur device memory when i had this running it ran very fast this theme is compressed which is suppose to make touchflo3d faster

-There is a cab out there for sprint tv and 4 progrmas icons do the search bro .

-And yea if you wanna go back to stock remove all the cabs and you should be fine.

well yeah its the same thing for the most part as google...... you have to use keywords not common words or full sentences.

1. it may make the phone a little slower but nothing to complain about since the skin of course is bigger than the stock one was by quite a bit
2. a theme isnt going to delete your cab file.... are you talking about the one on thouchflo itself? if so its up to the theme designer if he wants to add that one and many dont.
3. yes just uuninstall the cabs and soft reset.... or you could do a hard reset to return it back to defualt like hwen you got it.
4. yes we have a cab here for that.

I'm taking about the Sprint Music & TV tab on the Today page. It's gone, music is there, but no TV.
As for the Globe, its not really a big deal, I just saw on the first page of this post that there was that cool looking Globe under the clock, no biggie.

you can get that tab back by using tf3d config tool but it won't be skinned because, like dash said, most skin designers don't skin that icon because almost no one uses the stock rom let alone the tf3d stock theme

take a look at my signature belowand you will find a step by step tutorial on how to flash your device. very easy to do and if you follow the easy step by step tutorial you wont be having any troubles.

yes it will work for touch pro...

you need to go into program files on your device, find the folder for the daimond tf3d config to and delete the XML file (it'll probably look like the opera icon, or whatever your default browser icon is)...once you delet it, you should be good to go... hope this helps!

why do you need the config tool for this theme? this isnt a .theme file so you cant use it for this....... these are all cab files that you install onto your device in the order that probex gave you in the first post..... also if you dont have touchflo 3d disabled you HAVE to do it before you try to install the cabs otherwise you will keep getting the unsuccessful error.

I had no trouble installing Probex's themes, but when I did, the TV was gone. IDK why I needed the config tool, that was what someone else said.
I have the TV cab, I try to run the app I get an error msg saying I have to change my connection to use the "cellular network"

thats becuse you prolly have wifi on and cant use the app through wifi.... i skin is just a skin and isnt going to effect the way that an apps works.

One other thing I noticed and was wondering about. When I go to the weather>menu>settings the data screen comes up, but I can't see the two choices. The font color seems to be too light or something. If I touch the screen I can see the choice, but otherwise no.
Also, I'm trying to edit my sig to show I'm running a Probex theme, but it's not showing.

Also depends on what ROM your running. Some ROMs have different file names, so the taskbar wont skin completely. What ROM are you on?

just noticed something, when i go to landscape nothing happens when I touch the "All applications" icon and when I touch the "programs" icon I get an "error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename" message. Did I do something wrong?

there are 1 or 2 icons that dont work, if im not mistaken, but the rest should. if you are still having problems with the theme, try re-installing.
