I tried both versions of this ROM and could not get an internet connection, I flashed back to stock and it worked fine, then I flashed to a different custom ROM and the internet worked. Has anyone else had issues with this? Is there a fix? Thanks for all your help.

What carrier do you have.... this rom was designed w/ sprint in mind so if your trying to use w/ a different carrier, youll need a dcd carrier cab

I have sprint and I tried running the Update Profile and still wouldn't connect

go to start/settings/connections/connections, and hit advance and make sure both boxes read sprint. try that.

im havin a slight problem flashing into this rom....i have sync connection, following directions it goes into the process and kicks me out says invalid model id error ....i have touch pro thru sprint, so idk what the problem is?

haha its kool man, both thread are identical except the boots are different colors, and of course one says pro and the other diamond lol.....but just be sure to pay close attention next time....

yea man thanx i went back and looked at it had to hit myself in the forehead like the V8 commercial...quick question i have vista, but now out of nowhere my phone is saying will not sync unless it have activesync 4.5??? but 4.5 is not for vista bc vista uses wdc

put it in manual bootload to flash....should solve ur issue....or delete the partnership with the phone and active sync.....but manual bootload should do it.

Hey There, I just want to say great ROM... I really do love this ROM because of tis speed and little goodies, but I have a slight problem and I wonder if anyone else has. My on-screen keyboard keeps getting locked in the numbers layout. I hard reset the ROM and flashed again so many times, but it kept happening. So just this morning, I noticed that whenever the built in accelerometer changed the display, in opera, my keyboard got stuck and never changed. I couldn't change it back!! no matter what i did, nothing was even installed yet! i just flashed last night, and it happened this morning again. What do I do, i really like this ROM, but i use my on-screen keyboard often and I really dont want keep flashing or hard resetting everytime this happens. What can I do to fix it?? BTW: Its only like this when I want to type, but in the the programs/setting (where you cant type) its normal, but everywhere else its "stuck". Whats going on??
Sorry for the long post, just wanted to provide as much info as possible.

Scroll back through the thread and you'll find a file to fix this. It's a side effect of re-enabling auto-correct for regular (non T9) modes. The is in this thread, or search for Classic Word Completion.

i just installed the atr3 rom a few days ago n im havin some probs. the pocketrar was workin but when i try 2 extract som zip files today n it says that i got a corrupt archive or unkown data format. n my task manager up in the top right corner isnt there anymore thanks

try to redownload the file sounds like a bad download..... and for the task manager go into quick menu settings and activate it again....

i did try to redownload them n it still didnt work the ones ive tried to zip wur taskbar.zip for the atr blue badge.zip for the rom n some games n did u mean to try to reactivate the task manager from quick menu if so im not seein wur ur talkin bout

for the .zip files....u may need to go to settings in pocket rar and make sure .zip is associated.....if not use reco or total commander to open them....as for task manager...

I am having the same issue. I have tried all of the above and still get an error. Any ideas? This has never happend to me and it is only happening to the Taskbars.zip and the TF3D2_Goodies.zip.

What are the errors you are getting when trying to open the zips bro ?

The above is the error I am getting. I am using WinRAR and I have used Resco on my TP and when I extract it I don't get an error on either file but the Goodies file has nothing there is not an even extracted folder. The Taskbars file is different. It creates the taskbars folder but it is empty. I have no idea what is wrong.

as stated previously...by default .zip files are not associated with winRAR u need to check .zip files in the wizard/settings menu for it to work.

I did that before I posted the problem. I read the pervious post and followed your instructions. When I did the .zip file was not checked so I checked it and tried it. Ithought that was it but when I tried to extract it I came up with the same error. That is when I decided to post. What did you use to extract it? Did you do it on your phone or with the desktop? Thats sounds like the download is incomplete. Try redownloading and unziping again. You can also try to unzip it on your PC. But the "end of archive" error means that the file is incomplete or that you are missing other parts of a split archive.

i use Resco Explorer to do everything on my phone..... .zip,rar's, folders....everything....no need to unzip on the pc if its ganna go to the phone anyway.....but like said in the post above if there error stated "end of archive" i could be a bad dl......but its certainly not a corrupt file.....try to re download and either go straight to phone and unzip or use winrar,winzip or any other program that is for these type of files...(you can find them all here in the home(pc) section.)

I tried everything and still no go. I even downloaded to the phone and still does not work at all. I am going to try one more time and then I am going to give up. Thanks for all the help though. Much appreciated.

So I flashed to ART rom and installed alienxtreme cab, soft reset turned on touchflo and I see nothing
Everything looks default with black theme.. What did I do wrong, Ive flashed both ATR roms and doesnt work for both.

well did you download the tf3d or tf3d2 rom? because thats a tf3d2 theme. also, you need to turn OFF tf3d2 before installing. any further questions post them at the alienxtreme thread okay.

Nice rom, thinking of switching back to an older rom tho, I can't figure out how to access the sprint programming what nots, on account of that the ##xxxxx# numbers don't seem to work

which programming menu are you trying to access...I just did the epst which is ##778# and it worked just fine for me

Did you install any new dialers??? Im able to access it always, untill i intalled the new tachi dialer. but there are epst apps u can use that will do it regardless of the dialer.

I didn't check I'm pretty sure whats on this rom isn't a stock dialer him, do you know the names of any of the apps that edit them I've searched a bit and havn't had luck other then the fix for the ##codes which didn't do the trick.

sorry to say but this was covered a few times already in this thread, and the issue is resolved and confirmed file isnt corrupt when used with winrar....please follow the thread if you still need questions.

the dialer is phone canvas s2a,.....but this has been in all our releases and ## codes do in fact work on all releases...again, there is no real reason the rom would do this...it is a sprint specific rom....not just a generic cdma rom. so ## will and do in fact work from fresh flash.....not sure where your problem lays truthfully.

yes it has gps and shoudl work without any troubles... you are on sprint correct?

yeah but what gps is built in cause i had to download google navigator... couldnt find the one that was built into rom..
