sorry im bumping all the old threads..i just think they're really fun to read lol..well anyway..my name littledaisy is very simple...im only 5'0" so im the shortest of my family and friends and well my first name is Daisy so i just combined the two littledaisy..which has been my nickname since 2nd grade...no bull!! :)

Well, I like to say back in the day when the internet was first starting out, and went into my first chat room, I needed a name. At the time I had been watching Spaceballs a lot and the first thing that came into my head was Lord Helmet. I tend to stick with things once I start them and so I've stuck with it for all of these years. It's also easier on my brain not having to remember a different name.

My username goes back to my ever so geeky days of youth and D&D all nighters. That's the original Dungeons and Dragons for all you youngsters :) I had a monk character that ended surviving through all kinds of certain death situations; I always managed to get that super roll of the dice when I needed it most. Eventually, my friends started calling him Mobius, as in Mobius strip since it is an infinite loop, and it stuck. I added the "e" in the spelling since half the people pronounced with a short o sound (mahbius).

Okay, wcked got me to thinking, and some of y'all have some pretty straight forward stuff, some don't.

I was just wondering because I work with truck drivers and some of them have some handles. Some have specific meaning, some don't.

MY hubby's is simple because it's just a variation of the spelling of his last name, hence, "Premo". Some folks think it means something else, and back in the day, yeah, maybe. (can they indict you for stuff you post???)

Mine is kinda simple, my given first name starts with a "G" and I got "Gadget" because of what I do all the time, I fix stuff. Got no problem with taking something apart and trying to fix it, if it's already broke, I can't make it worse, huh? Plus I have a belt that I wear all the time, got my sidearm, clips, cuffs, leatherman, cell phone, cancer sticks, lighter, light, baton, etc. etc. I don't carry a purse. Hence the tie in with the "Inspector Gadget" theme.

It wasn't something I came up with, it was given to me a long time ago and it just kinda stuck.

Same here.....just found it easier to use as logon name for most sites i use...My Custom User Title (InsomniAddict) however is do to the fact that I work 75 to 85 hours a week on average and am really only able to be online in the early early AM. If you were to look you'd see that about 90% of my posts on this site occur between midnight and around 6am. I was thinking of going ahead and changing my username to InsomniAddict though. What do you think D/\SH/wcked? I normally wouldn't hassle with it but I think that staff should have more easily recognizable usernames (or at least one's without a crapload of numbers after it do to multiple users with the same name)

what does my user name mean? wow, good question. never thought a thread like this would ever come up. well for me i guess you have to understand where i'm from. san antonio, texas and incase you didn't know- hispanic nation. don't get me wrong it's not a bad thing. only problem is, is that i don't look hispanic. so after years living and growing up around hispanics, i noticed that there wasn't too many "MONTEZ" which is my last name. so i wanted to make a name for myself or atleast start something new. thus Montez25. 25 because it's always been my number back in high school and till this day with all my leagues i'm invloved in. so that is who i am montez25.

I got sponsored by a local skate shop and got free blank boards and other simple stuff and well one of the first skate movies that i got was MENIKMATI by the E's skate team!!

Well..............I'm an Army vet and I was a crew chief on the Apache helicopter. In the aviation field, in Vietnam, there were scout helicopters, which were small and mostly unarmed. Those pilots always flew into danger and enemy fire to help out as best as they could, sometimes at the cost of their own lives. They were called “Gods lunatics” for their brave/ crazy actions. Im a psychology major working on my masters degree and my user name is taken from the scout pilots and everyone at work thinks Im crazy. When in reality Im just bored at work.

thanks for the promotion. I didn't fly them I worked on them. Which, it cost the Army more to train me to work on the helicopter than it cost the Army to train someone to fly it.
