a=fter running this rom since release day i have to say that the battery life is somehow better than the last rom even under heavy repetitive use consisting mostly of text messages and calls with some net thrown in their as well as games. i would still call this the leader of the pack a s touch pro roms go for me. everything seems to run smooth and od what is is suppposed to do and preform it gracefully....... great rom and recommend anyone to use this.

Is anyone having problems with tethering on this rom?? I have not been able to use phone as modem on v12 or v13 which I'm on now. I work at Sprint and phone as modem is even inclluded on my plan and I can't use it... sucks. I don't need the hack, lol... I just need it to work damnit! Everything else runs great, my data works fine. When I plug in the USB cord it ask me 3 options....1) Active Synce. 2)Disk drive. 3) Internet sharing. I select "Internet sharring. it connects and says "Connected." BUT, when I go to web on my PC it says "Network Timeout" everytime and will not connect. This is a desktop I am using so the wifi is not an issue. I was using Phone as Modem prior to this rom as well so it has to be a setting or something. I went to Connection Setings, Select Network, and the 2 drop down boxes I tried it on Data Connection, I tied it on Sprint, I even tried selecting ISP just for shits and giggles. Instead of shits and giggles I got pissed off, lol. Ughhh. I checked my registery on the phone, everything is set correctly and enabled so I didn't tinker with it at all. I made sure under settings, conn manager, that my Data was turned ON, and Internet sharring was launched. NO MATTER WHAT I DO IT WILL NOT LET ME TETHER. Please if anyone knows something I might have missed or can check to see if there;'s is doing the same thing I woul;d GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as long as you are cdma yes you can use this one... what specific error are you gettting like numbers and description? you have togive us details... did you follow the tutorial in ym signature below and also unlock the device so it can use custom roms also?

I flashed this ROM a few days ago and just had to say that it is dope! I previously had wm 6.1 and it was about as slow as a rat carrying a brick. This is much faster and responsive.

Well glad you like the rom make you sure hit that Thanks button and Install in the first post. And the more you try stuff on your own the better you will learn the phone.

nice glad it all worked out for you and remember to be sure ot add the cab ile and install it from the first post otherwise your gps wont be working on sprints service since stock it is set for telus.

ALL IT SAYS IS HTC SMART MOBILITY i'm sure the phone is ok but WHAT DO I DO NOW ???

try flahing again might had a bad flash make sure phone is unlocked, i know u probably know that..but follow this tutorial

Did you Pull Out Battery after Flashing and then Hard Reset. Hard Reset see if that helps you. If not reflash and do those steps so everything can take effect for the rom.

whats Goku did flashed the rom and now it's stuck at the HTC SCREEN all it says is HTC SMART MOBILITY i did HARD RESET and PULLED THE BATTERY even flased again everthing looked cool as far as the flash but it's stuck at the screen i'm sure the phones ok but what am i doing wrong ???

Are you trying to flash this to a touch pro? Your title says you have a pro but this is for the vogue.

sounds like you have a non gps radio...... can you take a look when it boots up at the red letters that come across on the bottom.... what does it say next to the R:

it says 2.13.00 next to the R when i fire it up and under that it says D 3NFS

no but i think DASH is right i might have a non GPS RADIO so i went downloaded the sprint carrier cab and now when i try to open it all i see is a bunch of letters and words ? or should i do something else i need help and i'm getting frustrated ?

Sounds like you need to update the radio. Flash the official updated stock rom then this one. Make sure the pull the battery and hard reset each flash. I also assume you unlocked the phone.

Im not sure if you have to do it for the stock ROM but it could not hurt to do it just in case.

You can, but if your flashing again there really is no need. but it only takes a minute, so why not? just make sure you do it again after flashing the custom

You will need to do both. Flash the custom ROM. Let it customize and reboot then pull the batt. After that then hard reset the device. You should be done after that. Make sure your use the carrier cab.

Also a recommendation once flash to custom make sure to update radio that best fits you..itll help to get better reception in your area and probably better battery life..hope you can get it fix..i know you will any thing you need will be here to help..

Actually I think that with the touch, you cant update the radio indipendently. I think the only way to do it is by upgrading the the latest stock first, which is what he did anyways. Could be wrong though, never had a touch.

Still can't get phone as modem to work, I need it bad so might flash back to stock. I love the rom otherwise. Good battery life, fast, stable, clean, just the tethering will not work and I need it.

Hmm. Thats the right one. Maybe re-download the rom in case its corrupt and try it again from the begining.

When you did what update? The Custom ROM update? Then yes, HR is required after flashes along with a battery pull to make the ROM run as it is supposed to run.

thanks to all i got it going and it sold so alls good my problem was when i flashed back to stock it relocked the phone and i was so tired and frustrated i ws'nt thinking good but thanks to everbody here i got it going

i try to other wise i'll just play with them and when the bill comes i'll have to pay so i activate them on BOOST CDMA and i sell them right away

i got a cellphone biz name TELEPHONE TONYS i just started but it's cool i also post on craigslist ebay and anywhere else but as far as profit on this one i made a 130 so i'm happy and i know he will be back because he was on the BOOST IDEN side and was constantly complaining about droped calls and web,messaging issues so now that he's on CDMA I KNOW HE'LL BE BACK and that makes me happy
